Just make sure the light covers your grow area. A 250 is 3x3' max. Today I added a 85 watt 6500k cfl to my veg room. I have 8 seedlings that cover a 3x3' space so I thought I'd add a little extra.

my plant is just under the 3'x3' margin. So I guess i can go as low as like 3 or 4 inches and have good coverage.

I use a piece of typing paper to check light coverage on the edges. It should be about as bright on the edges as right under the bulb. No exact but close.

Got bored and wanted to share some pics with you guys that I just took of her. She is fruiting up nicely, If you rub her a little she has a sweet lemon skunk smell

Sorry for the slight delay in my update, I was a bit busy this weekend.

I took pics Saturday. Day 42, week 3 Flower. She stopped growing now and is right at 26.5". She is starting to get very sticky, and stinky. Has a good citrus smell to her.

Sorry everyone for know update last week, I was out of town.

Day 56, Week 5 Flower. Her buds are fattening up nicely now with tones of trichromes. She is very sticky with an awesome Lemon kush smell. The hairs started turning orange last week, I am guessing about 3 more weeks or so. We will see. Just wish the buds were a little fatter, They are super dense tho. Will be adding the first dose of GRAVITY on Tuesday.
