Dry Ice for CO2 Supplementing

Has anyone placed a block of dry ice in their grow room to supplement CO2 levels? It is solid CO2, so as it warms it releases CO2 in gas form. My grow room is about 5x3x4 and I will be using MH/HPS so it might get a little warm in there, and the dry ice might also help to cool the room. Any thoughts?

It will work but it will also be expensive. I have always believed that there is enough co2 in the air to grow unless you have to use a sealed room. The old baking soda and vinegar drip technique will work too and is a lot cheeper. I'm sure there's a tutorial on that around here somewhere.

I'd highly highly recommend a tank, regulator, and co2 sniffer. 20lb tanks are alot easier to move around then 50.

Yes.... What he said. I was under the impression he was trying to figure it out "diy" style. A tank or burner would be ideal.

I do have a burner but have only used it 1 week when the temps around my area were over 100 * .
