Drying Before The Cure

Hey there,
New grower here with a question.
I have been drying my branches for about 2 weeks. Buds are nice and semi-spongie and the stem snaps when bent. It dried in my cellar room at about 10 Celsius and humidity at 65-70%
Should the buds tighten up any more on the line or will that happen when cured in the jars ??
Just curious as the nice pictures of nugs I see online are more compressed than mine. Thanks

Also they were wet trimmed before hanging out to dry.

You should toss a couple of those buds in a jar with a hygrometer and see where they're at.
At 14 days it should be dry.

Your buds aren't going to tighten.
What you see are people that smash their buds, which frankly ruins them.

Been 30 minutes so far and hygrometer reads 65%

Yeah that sounds ok.
Keep an eye on them for the next week, burp when needed, but at least a couple times a day for a week until it stabilizes at a solid 62% and add a 62% Boveda pack to keep it there and you're good to go.

This is the place to ask. None of us mind helping wherever we can. if you want to start a journal so we can follow you better, I suggest looking up journals in progress and then compiling a list of items to note. Once you make one, be sure to upload it so it shows up on your signature line (yours is empty obviously atm) that way everyone can follow you.
