Drying in refrigerators?

So I have recently noticed a few people talk about drying in fridges so I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried it, what the outcome was and basically is there a specific way of doing it?

I'm growing too colas only and I'm thinking of getting a few to dry my harvest in as there all over for free and even if I can get 1 harvest drying that will do.
