Thanks for reading through, few pictures of the setup right now I will post more when I have some growth of my girls. They should be arriving in the middle of next week. Housing some mothers in my 4x2x5 and the 4x4x6 is my flower room. Questions comments criticisms of all kind welcome! Thanks in advance for the reps!

Since the seeds are taking a little while to get here this time I ended up with 6x Sweet Seeds Killer Kush F1 Fast Version.

PH Sitting at a healthy 6.3

Transplanted last night and fed this morning with a light 200ppm.

Bloom them up for 3 weeks pick the few nicest ones and use them as mothers, the rest I will flower.

Can't find my MH bulb but it is here somewhere and I will find you!

Right now the girls are sitting under the 600w HPS and will be moved to the 400w veg/clone room in due time.

Veg/Clone room is setup and ready to roll as well.

You have a bunch of babies under a bright red light.
Me being new to growing, reading lots n lots and getting feedback from growers i know...
I keep hearing that often times growers are turning their feminized seeds into males with the red light at such an early age.

You have several completed journals so that says something!
Have you run hps on seedlings in the past, without changing the sex?

Hey buddy thanks for stopping in.

I have never experienced a feminized seed change sex on me due to light. Every feminized seed I have bought and used has come out female and never had a hermie. I have used HPS before to sprout seedlings and haven't had any ill effect. I am only currently using my HPS because I can't find where I put my MH Bulb so I may be off to the hydro store tomorrow to grab a new one.

These girls that I have here are clones I got from a friend, we do lots of trading. These were a part of an order we did a while ago he has a few nice plants of the Killer Kush so he hooked me six clones while I await my seed order.

Well thats good news.
Ill stick to blue lights for germinating and veg just in case, unless in a situation like yours. But its nice to hear you havent had ill effects.

None at all.

I always veg under the blue spectrum but in the cases I've had to run HPS I don't think there's an issue.

I dont see the spectrum making the feminized seed come up as a male as a male genetic is always possible with a feminized seed. I do believe maybe some people having temperature issues/other issues known that could cause the plant to hermaphrodite. I have yet to see one.

Couple of them staying a bit smaller, one's a runt 100% lol. I'll take them out of the HPS tomorrow ... Still haven't found my MH bulb hmmmm

Long time no update so here we are. Somewhere around 2nd week of flower, exact date on my calendar. All in screen are still the Killer Kush, clones are Killer Kush, the single plant on the rubbermaid is the Autoflower White Widow.

The Critical Super Silver Haze is still in vegetative state as well as the Lemon Skunk, however the lemon skunk still has yet to sex and we're over 30+ days now. We'll wait and see how that develops, pictures of the veg tent tomorrow.
