dwc rockwool root problems

Hi

I have been growing in coco for years and have changed to DWC. When I put the seeds in the jiffy pellets they grow till roots pop out the bottom. Then I put them in rockwool but they don't seem to be growing in to the rockwool the roots just stop????? any help or advice would be good.

Am thinking about putting just the jiffy in the net pot and covering with clay pebbles.

ps how long should it take for the roots to come throw the rock wool?

just the jiffy in the pot and cover with clay pebbles will do just fine, mine were rooted in jiffy but I removed them from jiffy before I put them in the net pot, you don't really need anything at all if there are long roots, I recovered from root rots on my current grow, check it out
