Chop day for The Runt. Tomorrow or Sunday for Legs, just depends on how much she continues to frost up...and she's frosting up mighty nice.
There's no doubt that both plants could have gone a little longer, but I'm certainly not going to cry over the 1/2 oz total yield loss...it's an estimate, but it's close. I learned the lessons I wanted to learn, and am really ready to move on to the Violator Kush.
I'm estimating around 3 oz from this one...a hell of alot more on Legs...she has just swelled thicker and thicker.
How about some early yield shots...I'll take some tighter pics after they've hung for a week or so and I start really trimming the buds up.
Trichs on this one were around 70/30 clear/cloudy, which for indicas is right around where I like them. Strangely, Legs is showing alot more cloudy heads than the Runt, and may end up on the wrong side of the body stone high I'm not a fan of...guess the little lady will get some 7 1/2 month cured bud.
Also, I know back aways, OBX I believe, threw me a five star on this journal...I don't know who the second person was who did also, but thank you, I'm glad you found something here you liked.
I'll be back before long with pics of Legs...she's going to be something to see.

Thanks guys. It hurt a little to drop her, but there was no fuckin' way Legs was coming down yet and one had to go. Legs is a beast and she's just rolling right along. Got a week left 'til she's done, and then I'll be flowering out the VK. I'm sparing y'all the dull veg period of the next journal, but I will be posting some massaged mixture ratios I'm using this time around...with some small degree of success, giggity!
OK, little business. I left the staff today, no hard feelings or anything at all like that, Staff here is great and they do alot...I mean alot, y'all never see or hear about. When I take over the world in 2011, I'm going to spare Soniq and put him to work as "The Great Administrator", when I say this place couldn't opperate without him, I know what I'm talking about.
All of this is by way of saying, it has been an honor and a pleasure, and anyone so inclined, should think of volunteering themselves for a few months here and there to help out...the workload is staggering.

Ive got 2 phenos finishing in a week..I got a bunch of clones at 18" now
should be 60 days on 1 65 on another..I have a 3rd that finished at 54quick ? so how many days did you let the LA Women go. I want to get some info on the strain for a review. Seeing how alot of growers grew the strain out just recently. .

Oh girl, wait 'til you see what's coming.
The Runt was not ready...I knew it when I cut her, the problem was space. I leanrned my lessons with these nutes pretty well, and the VK were getting to big for the nursery tub I had them in and I had no desire to cut any roots. She was for flowered for 52 days and needed at least a week or ten days more. Leg's went for 59 and was about 70/30 cloudy/amber and is going to end up being a very nice yielder...weights to come in a couple weeks, but it's around 4oz...not bad for a two week veg and a new nutrient package.

Sorry for the lag in updates, y'all, things have been a bit looney in my neck of the woods for a bit and I just haven't had the time. Anyhow, Legs came out of a three day dark flush this morning and got took down.
She's a nice plant, around four ounces, maybe 4 1/4 when it dries out, we'll see. Very, very smelly. I kinda understand now how that poor black cat that always found some wet, white paint in the cartoons felt when ol' Pepe zoomed up on her...Gawd, does it stink.
There are alot of pics in my gallery of the harvest...I'm just posting some here but there are some nice shots there also if you want to go and look.
Let me appologize for the first pic...I'm here alone and had to set up the camera stand to get some sense of scale on the size of the buds. I tried taking pics of them beside my arm but it didn't work out so well.
I don't have much to say in the way of a smoke report yet...it'll come in a couple weeks with the weights.
I will say this. This grow was all about learning a new nutrient package, and at every turn, they outperformed their claims. I've learned that while there is a learning curve, it's managable if you have some experience. We've all been bombarded by bullshit from manufacturers of all manner of growing implements, it's damn nice to see someone not just meet their own claims, but actually exceed them in pretty much every way.
Despite a transplanting/lighting SNAFU that had me fearing for the crop, this next run is going to blow the hell out of this first grow...of course it doesn't hurt a damn thing when you have top flight growers like PitViper's and Setting Sun's journals for the same strain to go back and read.
Y'all, it's been a treat and I'll be starting up the next journal here in the next couple days...they go into 12/12 Friday...just the entertaining part this time y'all.
