Dying plants

Hi!
I'm a first time grower and having some trouble. My plants have been growing very well and beautifully up until last week. Two things happened: it got a little hotter and I think the heat is affecting them. I am installing an air conditioner today. But it has been pretty warm all along and they were growing well with the same lights. Lights are about 10-12" away now because of the dying leaves so bulb burn is not the problem.
The other thing I did is start trimming a lot of the fan leaves. I didn't do much research and now I realize I probably shouldn't have done that.
The leaves are shriveling, browning, and the buds have started browning and not growing as well. Is it too late? What can I do to help them if not?

Sounds like it may have got too dry pictures would help

Quit misting them in flower, or you could cause mold. It looks like heat stress to me. The ac should help them perk back up. Don't let the soil dry out too much.
