Easy LST for Plants in Plastic Pots

Hey guys, I have been doing some thinking about how to make LST easier for those growing in your cheap, traditional, plastic pots, so I came up with an idea and thought I would do a quick and simple tutorial.

First the necessities:

Plastic Pots
Soldering Iron
Some type of tie for LST, I personally use garden soft ties

So I was brainstorming and thinking of ways to make it super simple to add or remove LST from the plant and after a little brainstorming this is what I came up with:

Simply take your soldering iron and let it heat up. I would suggest doing this before you plant in the pots, but it can be done with a plant in there as well as long as your soil level isn't too high. Once your soldering iron is up to temperature you simply go around the pot and use the iron to make holes as high up on the pot as you can. I just went by eye and put one or two holes every inch or so. Now if I want to LST I simply take my soft tie, loop it around the plant where I want to LST and bring it down to the appropriate hole, thread the soft tie through and then bend it over the hole. Easy peasy.
