Email subscription options - only one email per subscription, not per reply

Is there a setting where I can receive only one email notification per thread?

Most forums give you just one email, not one email for every single reply.

Then when you go to view the forum via link in email, it resets and you then get only one email when someone replies.

As you can see above, this is what I woke up to.. so many emails, all replying to the one thread.

I would like only one notice.

That's odd my friend.
BTW
I get one notification then it says there may be more.
Are you talking notifications or actual emails.
Because you can opt out of emails and just get notifications.

Emails.
I would still like to receive emails ... but not one for every single reply in the same thread.

There must be something in the settings that either I'm not seeing or the 'check' option hasn't been made available by the admin.

I've just logged on and spotted that you had tagged me.
Luckily Marc stepped in and solved the issue.
I didn't have a clue what to do anyway, so im glad he did
