We were just talking about distances yesterday on this exact light, Icemud did a great video with a light meter measuring the marsII 400 watter at different distances.

I had the lights at the recommended 1.5-2ft distance during veg. During Early flowering at 15-18", Now I have it at 11-14" since the stretched as stopped. In my head I refer to Icemuds umol readings.. and came up with 11-13" as best Plants are happy.

Picture time - Day 3 of Week 5 (36 days).

Flora Micro has been cut and is now only receiving Flora Bloom till flush time. The first sign of brown/orange hairs have also appeared so me thinks 3-4 weeks of feeding + 2 weeks of flush till harvest

Her nutrient program has gone up to 1300ppm. It seems she can tolerate anywhere between 600-1000ppm no issues. Will have her on 1300ppm for a week then go up to 1600ppm to test then taper back down to 1000ppm

You want pH 5.8 for hydroponic and soiless (peat moss and coco coir) and pH 6.5 for soil.

Next grow should be even better. I have 2 clones that are becoming mothers. I'm going to clone those moms and end up with 3x girls and going to put them through the same training. With a more powerful light + same veg training Im sure she will pull in half a lb of good smoko as this is a keeper! so far tolerant of taking 1300ppms during flowering.


Week 5, day 5 update -

Random Cola - Trichomes make me happy. She has indicated 4/5 weeks left as her hairs have started to turn.
You will notice the Back Building Bud technique as written by LA. She would have been pointy buds but is now starting to get fat
