Adrien Robinson, the former New York Giants tight end, was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police on Monday. Robinson was charged with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robinson was stopped for a traffic violation and police found him to be in possession of 20 pounds of marijuana and other various drug paraphernalia, according to Penn Live.

Adrien R. Robinson, 28, who last played for the New York Giants in 2014, spent several hours in the Union County Jail unable to post 10 percent of the $15,000 bail set on two drug charges, warden Doug Shaffer said.

Shaffer said Robinson arrived about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and was bailed out a few hours later.

The arrest affidavit states when Robinson was stopped for an unsafe lane switch about 10:30 p.m. Monday, a state trooper observed what he called indications of criminal activity.

A search of the car revealed large bags of marijuana, a metal grinder, digital scale, vacuum sealer bags and a vacuum sealer, the charges state.

Robinson entered the NFL with massive expectations after Giants general manager Jerry Reese referred to him as "the JPP of tight ends." Now, we have a much better idea of why he flamed out as a draft bust.
