Experiment

So I think I'm going to to try an experiment...
I grew outside last year in straight rabbit poop and dirt, had pretty good yield for first time growing (2+ lbs from 4 plants). So I built an indoor grow room, bought a bag of coast of Maine soil. Started 3 feminized seeds of each: alien og &
Black Kush. All 6 sprouted, so what I want to do is take 1 plant of each: 1 set soil, 1 set 1/2 soil 1/2 rabbit shit, and 1 set straight rabbit shit, just to see what my yields would be. They'll all be under the same lights, set at same heights, same temps, all the same growing conditions. No other nutrients added other than what's in the soils... Anything else I need to consider?

So had a few issues when starting this experiment... Seedlings were dying off a few days after sprouting. Figured out the issues after wasting some seeds and time, but ehh... Gotta learn somehow.
So 3rd attempt I changed my whole starting set up and now everything is growing good. After that many tries I didn't want to screw up anymore plants... So I mixed my soil, rabbit poop, and some Coco to keep everything airy.
I'll probably try the experiment on the next grow. After I have a decent supply from this grow... Don't want to run out and be waiting on plants to grow.

I've never done an indoor grow, and only outside once before...
My plants are about 2 weeks old, and only 5-7" tall, but seem to be really filling out. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

They're in 1 gallon pots right now, and it's a mix: 1/3 rabbit poop, 1/3 Coco, 1/3 coast of Maine platinum growers mix.

Was thinking that when I transplant them to a larger pot, it will just be 50/50 rabbit poop/and this soil. I wasn't if it would get compacted so that's why it has Coco in it, tried to make sure it stayed light and airy... But I don't think it's a problem and probably won't need it for the larger pots

I’m following along because I’m curious about the rabbit poo too. In my experience when I add very much of it the plants get nitrogen toxicity. I’ve never gone more than about two or three tablespoons per gallon. However I’m still unclear about the best amount to you use - so I appreciate your experiment

But I will say that in veg for the last year or more, I’ve mostly just use a pest moss/perlite mix (which has no nutrients), along with a couple tblsp of poo per gallon- and this has kept them happy. So by this standard your plants definitely should not be hungry.

In flowering I found I had to add bloom nutes. I tried a few times flowering on bunny turds alone but the plants started looking yellow.

Last summer I just threw some plants in the rabbit poop pile outside, it's all the poo from raising meat rabbits so there is a ton of it... I honestly don't know if the roots ever did reach down into the actual soil, and they got big. The main stem was slightly smaller around than a Coke can on the biggest plant and the smallest was about half that size. I wasn't sure if they were going to burn up or not, I just wanted to see what would happen
