Day 70 (yesterday)
d20 12/12
Everything is just cruising along sweetly. The stretch is still happening. Soil plant has bud sites everywhere. Have made a compost tea to feed the soil tonight when the lights come on. I raised the soil plant a few inches so it is the same canopy height as the dwc plant. Will probably do a defoliate, branch thinning and lollipoping this weekend.
:peace:

day 72
d22 12/12
Had a go last night of thinning out one of the plants branches. Took a lot of the lower branches off. Will hopefully get a chance to do dwc plant tonight.

Day 76
day 25 12/12
Both plants looking good except the dwc plant has a couple of leaves that look like Calcium deficiency maybe? Any suggestions? My ph has been steady at 6-6.1 since res change on Saturday. :peace:

Quick update
Day 76
day 27 of 12/12
Changed the soup in the dwc, she is drinking nearly 2ltrs a day. Soil plant is doing great. Have been giving her water every 3-4 days. I will make up an organic tea brew on the weekend for her. Time to get my chair a beer & a joint, and just stare at them for a bit. :peace:

Nice, man. I’m sure our plants like our company as much as we like theirs. I imagine mine have the same taste in music as me, too. :D At least it breaks the rhythm of the fans for a bit. Sounds daft I know ;)
Your girls are thriving. Keep doing whatever it is you’re doing so well.

Day 79
day 28 12/12
I fed the soil plant 5ltrs of my organice tea tonight.
Ok have been scrolling the net to find out what ph I should be aiming for in the dwc when in flower and have found conflicting answers.
Just for growers says :The usual range (5.5 - 6.5) for pH is fine. 6.0-6.3 is optimal for vegetative growth, and 5.7-5.9 for flowering and fruiting.
Then I have read, go in at ph 5.5-5.7 for veg then 6.3-6.5 for bloom. I am totally confused now. Any advise anyone?

Hey Falc. Can’t help you at all with the pH question sorry. Happy to help you dispose of the evidence though! Looking very yummy.
Hopefully I get 10 oz of "evidence" that will last me 1 year.:passitleft:

Start it at 6.2 and it will slowly drop during uptake . this will allow a drift through the ph range catching everything, even the lowest elements that prefer more acidic fluid to transfer into the fine root hairs. If you dont have any drift then the ideal range with it is 5.8 range this is close to the middle for the majority of available elements. Swing down is the ideal scenario. 6.2- 5.6 , re-use ph up to swing again if not changing res but remember they do have an effect on ppm too when overused.
