what you make of this guys, two separate tops on the alaskan, the pistols have browned off and its almost like the bud is drying and crisping up,


you can see the difference in colour on the two st the back here, the one on the left is the second pic above

ok was kinda my thinking, lights are a few inches, i dont measure; they cant go higher; i have dimmed them slightly though, temps have been 28/30c, around lights on the past week i guess, which is around 8pm here, i cant say temps during the day, when lights are out, which have been hot again lately lol
i dont thinknit gets hotter than that in the dead of night with the lights on though.

ok will raise the fan off the floor more, i have a big 16” fan blowing down from the other end but maybe not enough.

from first day of 12/12 or literally first day flowers start forming?
pebs and bubs were flipped on 29/6 iirc
pistols showed and flower commenced durig the second week on pebs, little later on bubs.
subs 3 was flipped on 3/7 and again was nearly 2 weeks before flowering started,

its roughly 9 weeks since flip then almost, and around 7 weeks flowering for the big 2,
a few days behind for subs.

so by maturity penny do you mean sexual or ripeness?
either way looking at both, with letty she had preflowers before the flip, thinking it was an auto i let it just do its thing before having to induce flower, i cant say that was the case with the others, there were no pistols anywhere until after light change just spaced internodes. i though from reading around that once the nodes started becoming uneven that was when they were mature as people say you can flip them as soon as that starts happening, but im sure we spoke before and you mentioned the preflowers are the true sign of maturity and that they are then ready to flip to flower? is that correct or did i just make it all up? lol

i know ripeness is what were looking for at the end, and to not go on set weeks, just want to make sure i know roughly where abouts we are , i hate trying to determine this part and as much info will help lol i havent kept track much of there days/wks until the other day lol figured we are nearing the end. i dropped the nutes a but like a week ago now, so hopefully that wasnt too early, on pebs bubs and subs anyway.
my trich shots dont always help lol i have a new phone coming though with a better camera so hoping that helps too.
subs looks like shes a quick finisher and might be ready before the other 2 even hasnt been any new pistols for a while and mostly cloudy.

while bubbles yahh wow the foxtailing is madness defo gona put her up for plant of the month with her star formations lol
starting to get her stink on now too.

the alaskan i worry the most over the brown buds lol theh dont look pretty, inguess those bits will be not a lot of good, could i press them or chuck to trim bags. or just bin? lol

You can use lesser buds for hash or extracts, don’t throw them out. I harvest mine with mostly cloudy with just a few amber and clear.

yeah was my thinking. just wasnt sure it it killed off the trichs like light bleaching is meant to.

so the cheese has been curing for around 3 days now @ 62%rh
after jarring up from fridge while looking nice, smelt a bit bushy, that smell is starting to fade, and a smell more associated with weed is coming through, while i wouldnt say its cheesy like im used to, it may come through yet.
my misses always tells me my sense of smell and taste are fucked, hers are hypersensitive, her smell especially, but i dont think mine are that bad lol

so anyway i dipped in for a tester.

backflips are usually method of choice with raw blacks ofc!!

well it tastes nothing like it smelt, defo doesnt taste bushy, defo not very cheesy, but its pleasant, a smooth hit on the throat, nice white ash and smoke, and a nice mellow high.

all good, so then i grabbed a little bit more, maybe 2g, put it through the squisher

getting the hang of this pick up malarky now.
nice return from a couple g id say, i should have weighed it before, il attempt to weigh the after tomorrow lol i havent hit it..

then i weighed the rest up

bunged it all into the same jar this time.

still a bit of room when upright,
smoked another one since all that, while writing this infact, so says enough to me that i went back for another straight, as well before bed, instead of the gas which i know will knock me out as needed, and now ready for the land of nod..
lets hope a bit more curing makes her really shine )
im happy with that
