Well for this round I bring you 6 Auto's with Doc's Hi-Brix method of growing.
This is a new method for me so I will be learning a ton I'm sure. This is actually my very first 100% organic grow so I'm excited for that as well.

I will be using a minimum of LST but depending on early growth speed I very well might be topping my auto's as well.

The strains that are being planted are;

2X Gorilla Glue auto
Type

Indica / Sativa
Flowering Time 8-9 Weeks
THC Content Very High
CBD Content 0.80%
Yield 400-600 gr/m2, 50-300 gr/pp
Taste Pine
Smell Pine, Sour, Citrus
Effect Heavy Euphoria, Relaxing
Grows Indoors/Outdoors
Medicinal Properties Glaucoma, nausea, epilepsy, MS, back pain, PMS, arthritis, Herpes, rheumatism, Sickle Cell, Stress, Migraines, AIDS, tumours, Asthma

This strain receives its name from the trichomes, that “glue up” the scissors when manicuring this baby. Gorilla Glue is a potent hybrid strain that delivers heavy-handed euphoria and relaxation, leaving you feeling “glued” to the couch. Its chunky, resin-covered buds fill the room with pine and sour aromas inherited from its parent strains.
This strain has a great history behind it. From its beginning, Gorilla Glue #4 was created by Joesy Whales and Mardogg. It won the 2014 SoCal and the Michigan HighTimes Best Hybrid so, since then, it has been considered one of the best hybrid strains you can grow. We had the opportunity of triying the Gorilla Glue #4 and we were very impressed with that strain; so, after getting the original clone of this awesome strain in a californian event, we couldn’t resist to begin the research to incorporate it to our aufoflower catalog. We used a clon of this champion and, on its basis, we have created our Gorilla Glue Autoflowering. The result is an outstanding strain that can reach the 24% THC level.

2X Pineapple Express auto

Genetics Pineapple Express x Ruderalis
Type Indica / Sativa
Flowering Time 9 Weeks
THC Content 20%
CBD Content 0.9%
Yield 400-600 gr/m2, 50-300 gr/pp
Height 90-140cm
Taste Deep, Juicy Pineapple
Smell Ripe Fruit, Tropical, Sweet, Pineapple
Effect Aphrodisiac, Stimulating

Pineapple Express offers a mixture of unforgettable aromas: ripe fruit, tropical and sweet, very sweet pineapple; sensations that will lead you to discover pleasures like sex. Pineapple Express is for those who have hedonistic palates - those who like to indulge in a delicious desert and sweet liquor with attractive companions in a luxurious restaurant.

Thanks to its high THC levels and the pleasurable effects induced by its aroma, this variety is a fantastic aphrodisiac, able to stimulate the sexual appetite and heat up the coldest, most frigid room with hot sex energy in a matter of moments. Its smoke is pleasant with a deep juicy pineapple flavor. It reduces anxiety, increases happiness and produces a sensation of weightlessness, the high is like foreplay - a soft entrance that after five minutes leaves you free of rational thoughts and totally uninhibited. All you'll be left with is pure instinct and a deep need to offer up your desires to the heat of the moment.

Pineapple Express is a feminized and autoflowering strain that can grow large. It's a great Sativa Indica hybrid and the autoflowering genetics are superb, resulting in extremely rapid flowering times. For this reason, its name contains the word “Express”. While growing this plant you'll get the impression that you're in a tropical party full of happiness and sweet lusciousness. A more pronounced effect is apparent in cold countries where the plant floods the cultivation room with exotic and tropical aromas. The intense pineapple smell entices one to take special care of it during the entire harvest, like if you were preparing a tasty gourmet cake. Its cultivation is simple, pleasant, and very fast, since it will be completely mature within 60 days, and can yield 300 grams per plant (10 oz) when conditions are favorable. It is quite a large autoflowering variety, and can reach a height of 140 cm (55 inches). For this reason we recommend 10 liter pots (3 gallons). Plus, it's fine for novice growers since it only needs special attention with regards to pH and light, but you should judge the plant by its results - it's worth it! This strain does well with added fertilizers except for nitrogen, which you should use in moderation. This plant can surprise one with its distinctive characteristics. It seems like a pineapple, not only due to its aroma, but because while growing it develops a profusion of cones and robust dark green leaves. After the first week of flowering it starts to build up a coating of resin that, by the end of flowering (which lasts about 54 days), will cover the entire plant.

We have indeed achieved a strain with abundant resin that has an explosively potent composition: 20% THC and 0.9% of CBD. This means a phenomenal experience is assured.

2X Bloody Skunk auto
Genetics
Sweet Skunk Auto x Red Poison
Flowering Time 8 Weeks
Harvest 8 Weeks From Germination
Yield Indoors 350-550 gr/m2, Outdoors 35-175 gr/pp
Height 60-110cm
Taste Deep Skunk, Sweet
Grows Indoors/Outdoors
Awards 2nd Best Auto 2014 Expogrow

Variety 100% automatic. Hybrid resulting from the crossing of our Sweet Skunk Auto and a selected strain of Red Poison that brings character to red flowers. The result is a wonderful and very aromatic variety of red flower with a strong and deep Skunk flavor, sweet and extremely nice. The aspect of the plant is very similar to the classic Skunks, shaped fir with abundant side branches , big buds covered by aromatic resin and at the top a large main bud. Flower clusters are very dense and during flowering are completely covered with resin.

Soil is Promix-HP with Doc's Hi-Brix kit

My soil has been cooked from 8-4-16 through 10-12-16

Pots are 7 gallon Superoots air pots

Light is 25X Cree CXB3590's with 16 in 3000k and 9 in 5000k. The light is passively air cooled and runs anywhere from 0 watts to 2100 watts

These will be on a 20/4 cycle start to finish

I also add 2X 54W t5 Pure UVB bulbs to the last 2 weeks of flower for explosive trichome production.

The room is kept between 78 and 81 degrees

RH is 50%

Water is all Reverse Osmosis

Ok well here we start an exciting journey for me. My first 100% organic Hi-Brix method grow.
My soil has been cooked for 2.5 months so I've been excited to get started with this for quite a while.
First thing's first. Filled 6 of my 7 gallon pots with the cooked soil. Here you can see our 6 new empty spots. The soil is actually pretty dark and fairly moist yet with your eyes and touch. My phone camera cant handle the Cree's above head lol.

Now for the donors. Lets do 2 of each of these. The Gorilla Glue and the Bloody skunk auto's I haven't done before. The Pineapple Express on the other hand is by far my favorite auto to date. Fairly small plants but the most dense large buds and trichome coverage to pack a punch!

1012162121a.jpg

Now, I used the back of a sharpie to make 1/4" deep holes in the center of each pot and sprinkled each hole and around it with Doc's "Roots".

1012162124.jpg

My soil is still pretty moist from the tubs it cooked in but I did opt to Lightly water in the seeds with RO water and a weak mixture of Doc's transplant. I just gave a bit of water to each pot only in the center as you can see below.

Well, there we go. Off to the races now. These will all be on 20/4 lighting from start to finish. I put the Apogee MQ-500 over each pot and when they pop they will be receiving a ppfd of 650 for now.

While I've always grown autos in 18/6 light, the 2 that are starting to flower above have up until this point grown in 12/12 because I was flowering a photo plant. Because of the 12/12 those 2 were quite a bit smaller than any auto's I have grown in 18/6 so for this round I want to try 20/4.

Wait until you see this guy's COB rig, Ziggy ... :thedoubletake:

Good morning FL. A ? on the cooking of your soil. Why 3 months? Was it a regional issue with your temps?
No, I had another grow going so I let it cook the whole time. Soil was ready after a month lol, but I wasn't..

I have been looking into cree lights too and the uv.. In about a week we will decide ..that is when we have money to buy...
Your set up is awesome and we will most probably build the light ourselves. :bravo:

Thanks AngryBird!
Yes, not too long ago I was on the typical 3W Panels by a company I can't mention here lol. They worked very very well but since this first Cree build there has been absolutely NO looking back. I love how I can now tune my room lighting however I need/want.

Well, I know officially have started my Hi-Brix grow. Last night 10-16-16 we had 6 newborns. So today (10-17) is day 1 of life above soil for all 6 seedlings. I had to gently remove the shell from 2 of the seedlings but they all look fine.

Here they are last night

Quick question about Brix growing

So for now I imagine just a bit of straight RO water as they need it? I mean I don't need/want to mix anything with it at this point do I?
Being auto's and starting in their final 7 gallon pots I tend to carefully give just a tiny bit of water every day so the top roots don't completely dry out on seedlings. Otherwise the room environment will tend to completely dry the very top every day.
Right or wrong I like to just baby them with a little water until they get a deep tap root established.

For an experienced gardener, there's nothing special about watering the young ones in HB soil. :Namaste:

Newbies can find it tricky the first few times :cheesygrinsmiley: so the advice is always to NOT water seedlings.
