I have some friends saying that my plants are ready, 2 out of the 3 anyways. Saying I should start drying 2 of them.

It's the 2 on the right in the 1st pic

I agree with fanleaf. The calyx have swollen, hairs receding but without checking the trichomes you may be done, past or not there yet.

Joke that didn't work-friends may be pressuring because they want some smoke...should check trichomes...etc

If you don't have a microscope or a loupe to check them you can use binoculars or a rifle scope if ya happen to have some laying around. Put the eyepiece right up to the bud you want to check n look through them backwards......redneck microscope!

Just remember, ripening don't stop as soon as you chop. Your plants will still age during dry and cure. I would cut the 2 down.

Haha I get that to but it's from the wife but she's getting better it's always the littlest one now that looks ready especially when we're low

Chopped! ☺ first grow... what a journey. Still have the last plant under light. Other 2 are gone.

Heck yeah! You got some nice smoke there. Keep in mind that you got good stuff, some people end up throwing theirs out because of Bud rot or infestation. Smoke a fatty for me in a couple weeks. LOL

Just by looks I would say that one needs to keep going and re-evaluate in a week.

Shes buckling. Propped it up though. Opinions? It looks like it is growing new white pistols out now.

Some strains will continue to shoot pistils. Without a $7 microscope it's hard to tell. Usually they will buckle like that if let to get thirsty when they are close to done. What does breeders info say for time?
