Fifty Pounds Of Marijuana Found During Tulsa Traffic Stop

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa Police traffic stop leads to the discovery of 50 pounds of marijuana bust early Thursday morning.

Officers stopped a car at about 4 a.m. near 24th and Memorial.

After questioning the three occupants of the car police say they were given permission to search the car by the driver.

Officers found an AR-15 type rifle, ammunition and what was thought to be freshly cut marijuana in the trunk.

The owner of the car, who was a passenger in the vehicle told Tulsa Police the other two people in the car did not know anything about what was in the trunk.

The car's owner was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail.

The other two occupants were questioned and released.

In Oklahoma??? You'd have to be insane..no medical marijuana law there. :roorrip:
