ENVIRONMENT:

SPACE: 4.5 x 4.7 x 8.5ft closet
LIGHTS: 1000 watt ballast running at 600, 1000 watt mh bulb, running at 600 watt.
FIXTURE: 6 in cool tube with xl wing
EXAUST: 6 in 558 cfm inline blower with duct "Y" attached.
INTAKE: none/passive
AIR CIRCULATION: 12 in ocilating table top fan, 10 in table top box fan.
AIR FILTRATION: none

BOTANICALS:
1 x LAMBO (Bagseed)(germed 9/30)
1 x Headband (Bagseed)(germed 10/10)
1 x Peppermint Kush (Bagseed)(germed 10/27)
1 x Purple pinecone (Bagseee)(germed 10/27)

All are in 0 0 0 potting soil premix (generic)

I use only RO water, and alaska fish for veg bloom, and booster.

ADDITIONAL INFO
5th grow, 2nd grow in this space.

Lights ran at 600watt to control temps.

Flowering will be under hps.

The flooring is made of a plastic postal pallet trimed to fit this closet space.

Only lady bugs will be used in this space for pest control.

This will be a grow journal for these plants listed, some additionals i pick up from clone, and as well as a journal of the additional build out of a second chamber within the closet for a veg room.

The headband and lambo were germinated during my last flowering, lambo is comfirmed female due to early flowering, headband appears stunted, but has showen new vigor within the last 24 hrs, which is likely in response to the mh bulb, and 24 hr on cycle starting yesterday at 7 am. Got some clones free from my bag guy tonight. 3 are the same strain, 1 a lone lady. 2 are exceptionally tall. I was under the impression you get the best sucsess rates from small cuttings. I mean, one of them alone is about a ft tall. Ill take pics tommorow. No way to really shorten it now i suspect, but perhaps after it grows a nice low branch out i could hack it up to begin the harvestable plant? Anything i can do to help assist a large cutting with the cloning proccess? I havent seen the roots, but i imagine they are there, as they are all in solo cups full of soil. They were free so no loss if i only keep 2 maybe 3 of 4.

So in conclusion, 2 strains in 4 plants added from clone on 10/27. Will update with pics and strain info tommorow.

Ok a day late, but i guess thats better than never. So heres the details. I got 1 x haole and 3 x creamsicle clones from my guy. I recieved them rooted in solo cups. No roots poking through the bottom, but they were thoroughly rooted. I made an executive decision to replace my stunted headband plant with the shortest of the creamcicle clones. Clone 1 transplanted. In the intests of keeping males out of my closet, i am not going to introduce the purple pine cone and peppermint kush from seed. I will update the main post for this journal to reflect this. So, all in all 1 x haole, and 2 x creamsicle have been transplanted, 1 remains in the solo cup.

As i mentioned in a post the night i got the clones, 2 of them are nearly a ft tall. In addition i am seeing very thin, very glossy/waxy leaves intermittently throught out. I mean they are like mirror gloss. I have grown 8 strains to havest, no know it all at all, but havent ever seen this. I reasearched on the net, and very few people say very few things about it. Also, for being transplanted about 15 hrs from now, they look petty droopy. Need some advice about this as a whole(tallness risk, countermeasures, and glossy leaves, droopyness) These are not top quality clones. Which makes me think i should have let the seeds go? Maybe i will.... 4 med nursery pots coming today. Heres some pics

My lambo is hanging in there though. Might need to clip flowering ares to get it to fully reveg. I was hoping it was premature enough to just move on, and i could clean up once growth changed. But heres some shots from above. A little leaf warp, and shes not growing larger quite yet......kinda concerning.

So my plants are still hella droopy, but the pots still haventdried out, so prehaps they are drowning a bit still. I only had one soil test capsul left from the last grow, so i chose to test ph on the lambo. Its the perkiest but also is small, and growing slow. Ph didnt reg on a scale i could put on there chart exactly, so i added some ro water with enough ph down to ph at 5 to hopefully bring the soil down to a more identifyable value compaired to previously. Need to get a test kit refil, or look for another solution. This proves the importantce of testing soil ph regularly even if you know the ph of your nute solution. Hell, i was assuming all my pots were equal because of me testing one. Thats obviously not the case, as this pot is way off of what other tests show.

So herrs the droopy clones. I have 4 3 gal nursery pots coming soon, so the one in the solo cup will have a home soon. My goal is to have all 4 clones in nursery pots asap, but i dont want to disturb them quite yet.

On another not, since i will have some additional pots to play with, and i have a ton of high quality bag seed, i decided it was in haste to say i will cancel the purple pinecone and peppermint kuah strains. I will update the journal when i have some info to share on them.

Finally some pics that show the quality of the clones.....poor. the burn was there when i got them, hasnt gotten worse. Really no change except the droopyness

Heres the plant update:
So yesterday the flowering areas of the lambo plant were removed, and an a ph reduction was attempted on the soil. It appears the plant has responded positively, however, i still need to get more soil ph test capsuls. Does anyone know how accurate the probe style electric ones are? Im very tempted to buy one, and would like input on the accuracy. Heres the lambo pic

Ok Now the others. No change day 3 after obtaining, w full days after transplanting. I suspect its a soil issue and will hopefully get it corrected today. I got the nursery pots last night, so clones will go in those. Im gonna keep the lambo where its at i think, but all in all i will have 1 12 pot avail for a peppermint kush bagseed sprout.

Well here goes! My SJ lodge is here and set up, and the mars 300 led is hung. Ive got the tent kinda running limp mode right now....dont have enought duct to run as many curves as needed to keep my blower fan inside the tent. I'll get pics asap.


As far as a plant update...i'm going with a coco perlite mix, already have the clones in nursery pots, in coco and thriving. Need some nutes, all out from the last grow.

Ok, seeds popped and in the coco. Peeked out the top and look good so far. Amazingly they all appear about the same size and all are on the same schedule.... pretty rare. So now officially under a mars 300 watt 60x5 mars led:

2 x Glass Slipper BagSeed (Colorado Recreational Dispensery)
1 x Skywalker BagSeed (Colorado Recreational Dispensery)

Under 600 watt hps:

3 x Orange Creamsicle Clones
1 x Haole Clone

So its been six days, heres my update. My next post for this crop will be under a correctly titled and introduced journal. What was supposed to be a journal of a closet grow and build out, has become a perpetual scrog jarden in coco useing hps, mh, and led. Anyways heres some pictures for today.

The only haole clone has perked up, and shown significant growth. Only one of the 3 other creamcisicle clones has begun to look like something i can work with. The other two are simply tall stemed tops, that are growing slow. I suspect this is due to his damaging the stems, rooting such a long/tall cutting and the plant struggling to fill in to produce energy usable for growth with a root and stem / overall plant structure that is malformed and incorrect. Im considering taking a cutting from it and replacing it, however, im also struggling to get my lambo to grow taller. As u can see in the pic, its bushy, has very nice branching for its short stature, and looks like a good healthy canidate for future scrogging, but its just not really growing. I want to take cuttings from it, and get in the coco coir, as it is the only plant still in the horrible generic topsoil. Its kind of a toss up at the moment. So....theres a ramble for ya....

I have been feeding gh series nutes, following the feeding schedule for the gh proformace series box at 1/4, 1/3, and lastly 1/2 strength. I feel like the 1/2 may have burnt the tips a tiny tiny bit on the haole, so i may back off to 9/16th however there is just to much burn from prior to my taking ownership of the clones, that im not convinced its my feeding schedule. Proof to point, u gotta start with quality genetics from seeds or clones originating from reputable sources . Anyways This nutrient mixture is another change from my prior grows and the introduction to this journal, which states only alaskan fish emulsion products are used. Look out for the new journal coming in the next few days, i will post a link here, and then seek the ops assistance in completing the steps to abandon this journal.
