Evening. When FIMing autos is the norm at around when the 4 node forms like topping?

Sure you can. Im not sure there's a set node, but before they start to flower for sure. Some autos may not like that, but, I've seen some folks do wonders with them. When I grew them I didn't do any FIM or topping, but I did supercrop.

If you do it just right, you can get, not two new tops as with topping, but four.
The accrynom means Fuck I Missed.
Rumor or legend has it someone dudes were trying to top and got a little sloppy.

There is technique to it. Personally I think it's more aggressive then topping, but both require good clean fingernails/scissors and a steady hand.... or not.
