First DWC grow - advice?

Any words of wisdom or pit falls to look out for when doing a DWC grow?

I have a Halo Rainmaker system it's 6 - 5 gallon buckets.

First time EVER growing hydro and just curious if someone could give me some tips....pointers and things to be cautious about.....

just make sure ph is at or roughly 5.8 can be + or - I go plus up to 6.2 in veg
in flower I try my best to keep it at 5.8 and I check daily
adjust as needed
also make sure to keep res temps as close to 69f as possible or you may get root issues
so its a separate res with a constant drip from the waterpump and theres an airpump in the res so it shouldn't be an issue
but its all connected at the bottom so everything is on the same water basically
main thing I would worry about is res temps and try to keep things as simple as possible

Growing in my attic....The tent is completely covered with insulation and using insulated ducting.

Do you think I'll have an issue in summer months with water temps?

Pulling air from inside my house so that will be right at 70 degrees coming in.

for me depending how hot it is I have my ac in the room running at 65 the one the tent is in on a cool day it runs about 72 in the tent on a hot day it can get up to 80 this is in a room not in the attic id just make sure you can keep the res temps down some people freeze one liter bottles of water and toss em in when needed to keep temps down

Is there an ideal range? Can the water be too cold?

yea it can be too cold
id say try not to go under 60
I mean ideally the closest you can keep it to 69 the better
