Update: First off I hope all you guys and your families are safe and healthy. Past week has been crazy in my area. Its day 20 of 12/12 and I think the stretching is finally stopping. The girls are getting more and more hairs and eating like crazy. Upped the PPM/EC at res change and they have been gobbling it up. Girls are eating a gallon of water every 2 days. I lollipopped both girls a couple days ago. I added a couple support lights on each side of my panel, 4 - 1600 lumen 2300k LED bulbs. Not much going on anymore, PH is still rising around 6.1-6.3 lowering to 5.6-5.8. Other then PH and adding water, it’s just the waiting game. Here’s a few update pics. Also I’ll be starting a real grow journal with some real seeds I finally got! You guys stay safe and make sure to ration your toilet paper. And if worse comes to worse, we finally have use for those phone books nobody uses anymore.

Update: Day 25 since 12/12 and these girls are still stretching a little, hairs like crazy, hopefully I get a decent turn out. I think Dirty Girl PPM is 360 and Shorty 400, leaves on both girls still look good, only the lowest under the canopy are going slowly. This morning about a hour before lights off decided to check on things and Shorty was praying hard. I’ve seen the leaves point up a little when they are happy but I’ve never seen this, I’m trying to search it up but not seeing any praying like this. Any of you guys runs into this issue?

I’d say it’s normal. And I’d guess your plants going to stretch another two weeks or 3 mine seemed to stop at week 5-6 ish
The hulk.I haven’t seen it on the amazon.
My trunks use to not grow like that till I used them . She actually busted through four wraps of scotch 33 electrical tape.

Think your right, when I check after lights comes on she’s normal, but in the morning about 1-2 hours before lights out she’s like that again.

Hope everyone is safe and healthy, here’s the weekly update. It’s been 33 days since the flip to 12/12, based on the plan today would be the half way mark but these girls seem to be going slow. PPM at 600, PH still floating up to 6.1-6.3 in the morning. Per Botanicare schedule I lowered cal mag to 3ml per gallon. Top sites are getting very frosty already. 3 tops on dirty girl are way pass the canopy not gonna bother training anymore just gonna a let her go wild. Not much going on here just adding a half gallon to each girl every day. Until next week guys, stay safe and happy growing.

Flower period is like being 9 years old and it’s December 1st. Christmas morning is never gonna come! 42 days since the flip to 12/12, 27 days since pistils.l showed. The highest tops must be too close to the LED, deformed, or IDK what, they are growing weird. Like mutant fox tailing, I raised the panel up so I’m about feet away from the highest tops now. Dirty girl has it the worse of the two. She even has pistils and calyxes growing from fan leaf stems! I thought maybe a I ripped a calyx and it landed on a stem but nope it isn’t moving. Both girls are very frosty but I really hope those tops start growing normal again. They are eating and drinking like crazy still adding a half gallon a day. Last res changed put both at 640ppm based on the hydro bible they been doing good in the 600s. Some leaves are showing slight tip burns so another reason I haven’t went into 700s. There are some of the older fan leaves towards the top of the plant showing some little brown spots like calcium def so Im guessing they didn’t like the drop to 3ml cal max. Any ideas on the abnormal bud growth feel free to feed me knowledge. Stretching seems to be done. I went ahead and did a clean up of all the lower stuff that isn’t getting light. I’ll get pictures of the clean up tomorrow, only. 4 weeks to go....hope cannasanta brings me fat buds this year.

If almost all the uppers are like that it's probably light stress, but I (and others) have had a few fan leaves sprout mini buds. You might want to consider supercropping those leaders to get them away from the lights.

It’s my fault, there are 3 tops about 6-7 inches higher then the rest of the canopy. My dumbass didn’t keep up with the stretching and the LED panel was maybe 5 inches away from highest tops. The lower tops look pretty good so I’m just gonna ride the wave and see what I come out with. I raised the lights to 15 inches but I think even that is still too close. These were just bag seeds I used to learn DWC, and I sure learned a lot thanks to you guys so I’ll be ready next run. Been 47 days since 12/12 and 32 days since she showed her hairs. I planned on giving her 60 days before I started thinking about harvest so atleast 28 days to go. Being this far in flower is not too late for super cropping?
As long as you don't snap it I'd say they're better off cropped than light stressed.
You can also push the stem over your finger a few times to give it some downward curl and then hang a paperclip with a binder clip on the end to keep it from springing back. It's gentler.

So Dirty Girl has some purple coming in! Man she looks delicious, I just wish she was fatter. The buds don’t seem to be growing anymore, the highest top’s hairs are already orange and curling in with no new white hairs coming out. Checked trics with the scope and 75% cloudy, 20% clear and 5% amber. Based on first day of 12/12 I have 2 weeks left so I’ll harvest the highest tops then. Damn Blurple light stessed the shit out of this grow, but live and learn right. Next grown gonna train the plants to be shorter so I can maintain 2 feet from the lights. The buds I do have are SOLID tho. My first soil grows my nugs were fat but squishy, these nugs are small but have no squish. I really hope the last 2 weeks bring some girth to these girls....gonna have to change my name to spaghetti daddy.....

They do look delicious. Next week your trichs will explode and will get more amber. If you want to water cure harvest today tho, as the trichs will continue to mature when submerged in water.

You mean flush for taste? It's actually not possible. Spend your time reading about the best way to dry and cure...that's where the flavor gets perfected!

Yeah. In the past I flushed just out of tradition, was always told 2 week flush for taste and supposedly to fatten up. But some interesting information in the noflushclub thread.
