First Grow - Casey Jones - DWC - SCROG - Ice Probe Thermoelectric Chiller

Pocket microscope came in today. 70/30 clear/cloudy. It's damn hard to take a picture through the viewfinder so no trich pics available.

Far out Dabs, how did I miss this ...?
Lovely work man:thumb::high-five:
First grow ...? Awesome.

You haven't missed anything, I would say you are here at the perfect time. Flush starts tomorrow. Yea mate first grow. I've popped beans in the past and been around a couple grows but never my own grow with my own hands on experience, security, methods etc. Glad you like her. I really butchered her structure during and after the stretch. Next time... Thanks for stopping by, we are glad to have you aboard. Its been quiet in these parts.

awesome man :thumb:
hope my CJ coming like her sister

I'm sure she will be fine as soon as you stop taking pictures of her and checking pH during night sched. Did you spot the pistil I circled in the picture you sent me?

Today is day 64, start of week 10 and the flush has began. Temps are back to being pretty warm this week. We were both enjoying the cooler weather. 86/75F 35/40rh. Keeping my fingers crossed that the flush will bring out some autumn colors in the foliage. Eco Terra 10.0 26w uvb will be implemented tomorrow.

Week 10 nute line-up:

7.5ml/gal flawless finish

Thanks for stopping by spart. Shes not as big as I had hoped but she is far prettier than I ever could've imagined.

So I started Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients today. Seems to be a lot of misinformation about how the product is to be used. All of there published material states "after you have added Flawless Finish to your plants' water supply, you continuously irrigate your plants' root zone for 6 hours to completely wash your roots and root zone with Flawless Finish. Then, you drain your reservior and fill it with clean water. You do not add any nutrients or other supplements to your water supply. You just feed your plants pure water right up to harvest time." I called AN support for the first time and they informed me that this was incorrect. I was told that these were the directions for their older flush product called final phase and they were supposed to have changed the literature by now. The support guy told me to continue to add it to the reservoir every couple of days or with every feeding still no need to pH water. Are they just trying to get me to use unnecessary amounts of their product? Why would all the literature say use once for 6 hours?

I will be using Flawless Finish as well when the time comes. Please let us know what you decide to do. I have loved following your journal Dabbs. Looking forward to your chop! :) very excited for you.

I took a small nug yesterday to get a good look at resin glands and of course sampled the goods. I found an undeveloped seed, only one, now I really don't know what to do. The plant is still pushing white pistils and appears to be starting to crown with new fox tails. The glands are 60/40 clear/cloudy. I was under the impression that if a plant starts producing seeds flowering halts and energy goes to seed production but she appears to still be budding. There must have been a nanner or nanners somewhere but I haven't spotted one and I've been searching daily for weeks. Should I chop or continue as planned and keep going a few more days?

i would chop her down. She will do the work ;) You should be careful for your next grow. Try not to stress and something should have pollinated her. Happy harvest..She looks very nice btw.:thumb:

You could always keep her growing for a few days after all if she's almost developed there's not much point in stressing over a few seeds. It's when she's first developing you don't want seeds because she'll focus on them but if she's damn near done just let her finish her ripening and then harvest as normal a few seeds won't change much.

She's been getting plain water is week. Leaves are steadily beginning to Yellow and fall off the plant. Resin glands are mostly milky or cloudy, the only amber glands that I am finding are on older fan leaves. The majority of the top buds are no longer pushing white pistils. I plan to do a partial harvest on Wednesday. 5 of the larger colas that were standing taller in the canopy were removed a week ago and the light was lowered 4 inches. I am quite shocked to not be seeing more amber resin glands at this stage of the grow I'm wondering if this is a highly sativa phenotype that just will not turn amber. I am skeptical because of the amber glands on older fan leaves.

I think it was soma that said when you think it's done it needs another week.

Those look very nice Dabbs. Did you keep the flawless finish in the res or did you flush after six hours? Have you sampled the top colas? How were they? Thanks for posting this journal. It has been a fun journey.
