First Grow In Over 20 Years! Northern Lights Under 600W LED

All strains with high CBD should be grown full term. I take the Harlequin full term (12 weeks flower) so the CBDs can fully develop.
Hell, a lot of growers don't even like growing a Harlequin because of the long flowering time.

That is about all I could find about CBD flowering times so far but it looks like they go long.

Day 80 of Flower or 11 weeks and 3 days.

As you can see from my title I am on day 80 of flowering or 11 weeks and three days but the plants I am budding have advertised flowering times of 49 days and 8 to 10 weeks depending on the variety. It’s not that I don’t have the patience to take them to term instead it is kind of playing havoc with my continuous grow system because my next generation is ready to begin flowering.

So what I have decided to do is to harvest just my Northern Lights because I am seeing a fair bit of Amber and they are the strain that was only supposed to take 49 days. That will allow me to move my remaining two old plants under my 300 W LED light to continue budding for as long as they take to get good in Amber but I am also going to put my two new plants under the 600 W light and start budding them. Maybe not ideal but it’s the only way I can keep things going. This way I can start budding my new plants and keep ripening my old ones. I have about a month before I have to start my next generation so I should be able to get enough Amber on the old crop.

Here are my NL showing a fair bit of Amber I am about to harvest today.

I'd say your safe harvesting now.

Glad to hear it Pennywise. I am only harvesting the NL and will give the Yummy and Cannatonic as long as they need. Besides now that I have harvested the NL I am within the legal limit for a true 4 plant continuous grow.

Here are a few colas from my Cannatonic!!!

The same ball bats! Lol
Batter up, lol. I thought Cannatonic being a CBD strain wouldn't be a great budder but it is the best I have grown so far.

Just like any other strain except the cannabinoids.

I can't argue with the evidence, lol.

Sizeable colas Homer! Nicely grown. So weird to see amber and clear and hardly any cloudy! Still...looks like loads of goods meds for you.

Thanks Shed. Yes, I seem to be getting some strange results.

Nice job Homer! It's good to see your hard work pay off. Nicely done. :bravo:

Thank you Sauga. And thanks to all you guys for all the help throughout my grow!! :adore: :high-five:

Here are the Northern Lights plants I harvested today.

Here are my mature plants under the 300 W light finishing off their budding. One Cannatonic and one Yummy.

And here are my next generation being flipped to veg under the 600 W with one being a Cannatonic and the other a White Widow. The branches I am supporting with the wood are almost self-supporting after just one day so I think they will set vertical like I hoped.

Dang those plants are stacked!

They really are. Most of the buds are so heavy they touch the ground so I have them propping each other up. I am going to have to be careful about rotting.

Nice harvest!

Oh what a tangled web you have! Looks like it's going to be hard to get those apart if they come down on different days. o_O

Thanks, Shed. I can think of worse problems than having a web of large entangled bud!!

Keep some air moving through them.

Thanks, Pennywise. I do have a big box fan blowing on them and I am going to inspect them regularly. I would really freak out if I lost them at this stage. D'oh!!
