First Grow In The Mitten

Long time smoker, first time grower. Now that we’re legal, we’ll im trying my hand at the ol’ homegrown. I’m also on s mission to find the perfect strain for my son. We tried every thing the doctor order for his anxiety. All meds made him suicidal. He started smoking, and we have our son back. Stoned but back to being tolerable. I’ve started with 1nothern lights auto. And 2 blue dream. S third BD started just Incase I end up with a male. This is day 25. Topped both BD on the 27th. Started LST today.
SoI’ll: FF ocean forest
Light: 300 watt dimmable LED
Nutes: FF trio( started Grow 12/24)
Light schedule: 18/6
Temp: 74-76 lights on
68-70 off
Hum: 50 ish- 70ish%

Pistols showing on NL today, pics to come later. Added another wire to hold the base stalk on both BD

NL watered with light mix of Big Grow and introduced Big Bloom. 20 oz

Watered both Blue Dreams. I removed the training wires from BD2. Top leaves of plant were really drooping,
BD1 is loving the training, hopefully it’s a female

Day 28 BD1 doing well LST is working well

BD2 is doing well since I released it from bending LST. Still deciding what pruning or training to do with this one.

NL is coming along. Being an Auto flower I’m just letting her grow.

Half pic of the room. I need to get the intake and exhaust fan going. Humidity is getting out of control. Humidity is climbing to 80% after 8 hrs. I increased light time temp to 70-80 degrees.

Im just south of T.C about 1.5hrs from GR. You came to a great place if you find yourself running into issues. We are all here to help fellow growers succeed!! I will stick around love seeing Michiganders starting up a home grow.

Day 29: only received 1 fan for air exchange. I decided to install a relief vent duct to outdoors and installed the supply fan. The tent is pressurized, but I’m at least getting new air circulating. I’m pulling fresh air from my house. My hopes are to build a poor mans energy recovery core, to get a heat exchange between my exhaust and supply. I transplanted the 3rd Blue Dream. I may have to lay netting out if all 3BD end up female. I installed my 1000w Led and have the Northern Lights under it. The NL appears to have started flowering a touch. Maybe not, I’m just an anxious newbie. I set the flower lights to 25%on the 300watt LED with BD2and BD3 under it. Hopefully BD3 isn’t temperamental like BD2. I used Fish Sh!t and distilled water in the transplant. Worked well for the other 3. Sorry for the blurple pic, just showing the set up to date.

Thx D, welcome to my obsession. I will figure out the signature. I’m really thinking about using SCROG when I switch the lights. Training these BD’s is turning them into monsters. This site absolutely rocks.

Good luck on the grow! In michigan myself, (macomb area) and starting a grow, waiting on seeds and need to get some of the small stuff still.. like fans. But it's coming along hope you get good results.

Day 32: Watered last night with 1/2 dose FF big grow, and big bloom. NL and BD1 and BD2 are loving all the light and appears that they’re taking to the nutes. New growth on top is growing. I will post pics later today after I move more branches around.
Temps: lights on 75-78, lights off 68-71
Hum: 40%-60%
Lights schedule: 18/6
50 cfm exhaust and supply fans 1/2 hr on every 2 hrs for air exchange. Filtering the supply fan with merv 8 filter. Not worried about smell, exhaust goes though abandoned chimney with liner.
