First Grow Ready To Harvest?

Hello and thanks in advance for your help here.

I have done a lot of research on when to harvest. You know, cloudy trichomes etc. However I am using my phone's camera and even if I zoom in cannot get a really clear shot like those I see online to actually see the trichs. I am posting the closest I can get and maybe some of the experienced people can tell if it is ready?
I have a real short but I think thick micro grow of a Californian Snow from Fast Buds. This is fine because I don't smoke a lot but I do like to have my own. A mostly Sativa strain. In the website is says flowering 8 weeks after germination. However I think I am at 7 weeks since sprouting and I remember it took like 5 days for it to come out of the soil. I know I should have kept a journal but first time grower mistake. It is a small plant grown in a corner.

The lower fan leaves have started to turn yellow the past few days and the odor is quite strong. I am attaching a few pics so you can have a look and let me know your experienced thoughts to tell if it is ready since I cannot get a clear shot of the trichomes and I'm not sure if the milky color I see in the pics is due to light reflection or they are actually milky. In a few shots with the flash on I see a few in a kind of amber/brown color too and I don't know if it is the reflection of light. I don't want to let the trichomes go amber because I want the energetic high.

Thank you all for your time.

Can you get yourself a jewellers loupe or a bud scope? It's the only real way to know when a plants ready for harvest. The pics you see of the trichs really up close is from using a macro lens. Before scopes we judged by color of hairs, when 90% of hairs turned red or orange we would harvest, the hairs also start to shrivel up when their close to finished. Judging by pics alone I'd say 2-3 weeks left. Looking good though bro!!

Hello and thanks for your reply Orlando. I think I should find one of those jewellers loupes. :) The yellow leaves? I read that when they are almost ready the leaves start to turn yellow. Other people say it is not natural. I have stopped giving nutes for the past 2 waterings.
