So this is the first journal I’ve done and I was gonna wait to find out what sex it was before I started but figured what the hell I’ll start it now

grow space-3’x3.5’ closet

Lights-1x1000w led 1x300w led “ from Amazon, so not the best quality “
1000w is dimgogo, its new, but I’m still thinking about upgrading, 300w I don’t even see a brand and it’s almost 5 years old, so probably pretty useless

Air control-I have a 4l humidifier with humidistat, a have one 6” desk fan and one of those fans u put on electronics to keep them cool,it’s pretty good for blowing air out under the door

nutrients- I’m using general hydroponics, I have the base three, plus diamond nectar, calmag and hydroguard, using a chart I got from someone on this site, I’ll
post it

medium- I’m growing DWC 2 5gal buckets with 6” net pot lids, one has hydroton one has lava rock, I needto get more hydroton

genetics- ??? Bad seeds

It seems to b really compact so far, I just raised my light 6”, could light being close cause that?

Being compact is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s actually something people breed for specifically. Keeping it short and stout is actually good. You can have a bigger plant in your space if it’s shorter but wider right?

This is a normal closet go higher isn’t as much a issue but yes, not huge probably would b better in the long run, I’m just worried because I’m going to try to quadline this plant and it’s my first time so I want some room to see what I’m doing Loli still have like a week so fingers crossed

Stupid question - but have you checked water level, are roots reaching down into the reservoir?

I don’t see any coming out of the net pot but I don’t wanna play with the medium to much, I’ve been watering a little on top daily

I know in the first post you list the nutrients you’re using for the grow but are you feeding her any nutrients or just straight pH’d water currently?

Very minimal, that’s the chart I’m using,and I used even less than it says for the first week, that’s all the nutes I have for now, that’s calculated for 3 gallons, I just put

it in the bucket yesterday, but the water I have been top watering with was just phed

Ok so she’s getting some at least, as to if it’s enough or if you could try to give more that I’m not sure about. Hopefully you can track someone down using the same nutrients and ask if you are ok or need to try more. I’m not sure how much you are top feeding but maybe trying wetting the lava rocks more when you do. If the lava rocks are the only difference between the two pants, besides genetics, it may have something to do with it. Or it could just be genetics. Again I’m not sure and just throwing some ideas out there, it could be she just lost steam. I have a pepper clone that has not grown at all in 2 months but it’s not dead and looks healthy. It’s just chilling at an inch tall with 3 leaves and not a care in the world. I would give up on it but it’s the only pepper of that type I have left after my dog decided to top the other ones. He’s super helpful in the garden, even nibbles the leaves on my autos outside.

They r from the same bag of weed, but the runt did shoot the tap root up out of the rock wool and I had to try to stick it in there so that’s probably most of it, I’ll top feed tomorrow with water from the reservoir with sum nutes in it

That very well could be it if you accidentally damaged the taproot.

Got some growth from both actually... and in other news I got this in the mail today and I’m stoked
