First Time Grower: 600W 3x3x6 Girl Scout Cookies, Northern Lights AF & OG Kush AF

I let mine sit 3 days in the dark before chop. Between that and hanging them whole they didn't get the hay smell at all. My first harvest I wet trimmed and it smelled like hay for the first few weeks of curing.

Does anyone have a good recipe for canna butter? I want to use it for the trimmings. Can I use it fresh or do they need to be dried too?

Get on the youtubes and look up "cannabis training university- how to make weed butter."
She gets a nice strong butter. Pay attention to her measurements, she evidently confused a few people. She was pretty clear to me though.

Next up: my Pineapple Express girls. They're on day 58. I watered both of them and I trimmed a few leaves of the bushiest plant. But only fan leaves that were blocking the growing buds.

Day 72 - Girl Scout Cookie 2

I checked her buds and the top buds all turned milky with a few ambers. I'm aiming for more of a head high with these girls so the plan is to leave the lights off til Sunday - HARVEST DAY!!!

Like Girl Scout Cookie 1, she needs a few more days. She was the original runt of the litter and now she seems to have grown lovely buds with a strong smell. I like her a lot

She's totally ready and is going dark from now till Sunday.

Day 72 - OG Kush 1, 2 and 3.

They're all ready to get harvested but I'm going to leave OG kush 3 for a few more days in the tent together with Northern Lights 2 and the GSC 3. Because they need a little more time but also to see what the difference will be in final product.

Hey Ahab! Thanks for dropping by and for sharing your kind words. I'm glad you've enjoyed the ride so far. I have too, but truth be told, I wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for the wonderful members on this board who constantly offer useful advice.

I checked this just now and I will use her measurements and make sure to clarify the butter but unfortunately I don't have a crockpot. I'll have to keep it on a low fire instead I guess. I'm super excited to try though making some butter and brownies this weekend, so thanks VG!!!

I used to cook it on the stove.. Low heat for a few hours.
Smell is all over though...
