First time grower

Hey I just started growing about 6 months ago and started from knowing almost nothing about growing. I am a cancer patient and am trying to get the best product i can for when i start chemo again. My buds that i have been growing are not smelling as good as the weed I used to buy some dont really smell at all any reason to why this is? the buds look great and smoke good just dont have that MO MURDER smell.. any input would be appreciated

Also, how you dry the buds can affect the strength of their odor.

I noticed nobody mentioned maturity. Allowing your buds to fully mature ensures proper terpene/flavonoid development.

First of all, you have to consider whether they are mature or not. If they are immature they can't smell good enough. moreover, you may have problems with bud's quality, lighting as well as caring of plant and so on.

So if you want to get good smell from your buds you should concentrate on the above objects.
