First Time Hydro!

Ok...here's today's pics.
I have the PH at a steady 6.0 now.. apparently I was running around 5.5
and reading the chart wrong. Guess she didn't like it. Anyway, after 48
hours or so of adjusted PH , she is looking better. Thanx for all the help and suggestions ALL ! :grinjoint:
I started flowering Nutes today since I believe I have the problems sorted.

The seedlings and Tammy's Clone are doing well and
Tammy has NO balls yet ! WOOT ! :rollit:

As always, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Peace :roorrip:

Thanx Ms.Fox..
I'm hoping that IS , in fact, the correct solution...
time will tell.

Peace :roorrip:

Wow, you may have just proved that hermies are a result of enviromental stress not genetics. Tammy looks great man, lotsa bud sites.

Charlie... some hermies ARE a result of environmental stress.

That being said.. Just saw the first bananas on Tammy. heh.
I'm not too upset, but I've killed the clone as I don't wanna deal
with yet another hermie and I've decided to let her go as she will,
as she is so compact, it's gonna be tough to catch 'em all.
I will pull all I see and harvest whatever comes from her.
On the plus side, I have 3 new seedlings growing and I'm hoping
one will be female, so I can again hope to pursue my hopes of a
continue female clone grow.

As always, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Peace :roorrip:

Keep your head up! You're doin great! How're your seedlings doing?

Yea, I will Ms.Fox , and thanx for the chin up speech. I need it :grinjoint:
I been trying for quite a while now to get the continual grow going.
It'll happen... just gotta find the right girl. :smokin:

There are 3 seedlings at the moment and all 3 are doing well.
Two are in the hydro and one is in a peat pellet, but I'm gonna put it
in hydro asap. Gotta make another bucket or 2...I'll post pics soon.

Peace :roorrip:

Runamok things are looking strong on your plants, we have similar routines going, I vegged a little less than you due to my cabinet restrictions... Cant wait to see how they compare... your root growth looks fairly strong on the small clones I saw.

Thanx for checking out my humble grow SmokinHerbz...

No way I can compete with you guys and your nice grow boxes :grinjoint:

But I'm still giving it a helluva try !

The clone you saw with the roots is now dead as it was a clone of
Tammy, which was a clone of my last (2nd) growwhich was a hermie.
I killed the clone because, frankly, I'm just tired of dealing with hermies.
I do, however, have 3 new seedlings going at the moment
and I'll grow them until I get a new mother. Like I told Ms.Fox...
I just gotta find the right girl. :hippy:

It'll happen , I'm just impatient. I'll show ya the babies later.

Peace :roorrip:

Okis... here's today's pics.
Even tho Tammy is now known to be hermie, it's looking like
I will at least get some smoke off her. Like I said earlier,
I killed the clone because I'm done with this plant and will
try another Snow White seed soon. The babies are looking good at least.

Tammy under HPS (she JUST woke up ) 19 days @ 12/12

As always, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Peace :roorrip:

Just a quick update before I go to today's gig.

Tammy is doing SO much better since I've figured out
what I was doing wrong as far as the PH goes.
I now have it at 6.0 and will keep it there. I also figured
out how and why I was getting incorrect readings.
I was reading the color under the glow of the HPS.
I never considered that until I saw the PH test solution
under the light spectrum of the veg lights and saw a
marked difference.
Just a heads up to all that use PH test solution.

DO NOT check the color under the HPS ! :smokin:

I transplanted the third seeding out of the peat and
into the hydro today and all 3 seedlings are looking well.

As always, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Peace :roorrip:

Good morning all.

No real update at the moment, just a question.
After perusing the follies of my past journals, I believe
that Tammy's mother, Bonita , turned hermie because of stress.
Now, the question.

Since the plant is a clone taken from a hermie that was created ( I believe )
from stress... will the seeds created be worth a daymn at all ?

Tammy is SO thick and dense, that I'm sure I won't be able to get all the banannas
that will eventually appear. Hell, I can barely look under her skirt as it is now and
she's only 21 days 12/12. I'm just wondering if I should try and use any seeds that
may develop or if I should just try a new Snow White seed.

I REALLY liked the smoke that Bonita produced so I'm just trying to plan for the future.

On a plus note : Tammy started showing Trics in the last few days :yummy:

As always, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Peace :roorrip:

Good Morning all.
Again, I am pleased to state that Tammy is still doing SO much better since I've figured out the PH problem.
The babies are doing great also.

Tammy is really sucking down the nute solution ( like a quart a day ), but not stretching much
and I'm thinking now I shoulda let her veg a big more just to get a little height.
At least I know now how to keep one short ! :grinjoint:

The way things are looking at the moment, the babies will be at a nice size
and ready for sexing around the same time that Tammy is ready to harvest.

Anyway... here are pics.

Thanx Ms.Fox

I think now that I have the PH problems sorted out I can
look forward to an even better next grow.
It's all about the learning and listening to your plants.
