Day 79 (evening) - No fancy theme today

Overview:

Last 24hr temps were 70-77f, rh was 34-47%. Seems without the two plants in there getting staying below 50% during lights out is easier now, no surprise. Mrs. Widow looks a mess still but still chugging along. Cleaned up some deadfall and did move the light down a 1/2" late last night... seems to have taken to it ok.

Though there is less 'praying toward light' than say 4-5 days ago. at 56.75" from floor I will take it down to 56 even and hold for couple days tomorrow. That will put it around 22" from tallest tops and about 24-25" from others in canopy. shifted right side lights 1/2" lower too, aiming directly for sides and not canopy much...ppft probably wasted electricity but whatever.

My extra couple humidity gauges arrived today, as did more bovedas packs and 12 more jars.

Mrs. Widow:

Lots more dead fall to come tomorrow, let this be a lesson for you kids, don't burn your plants... ;)
That said, a couple of those leaves actually were in spots blocking some light to other bud sites,
so kind of good they're gone. I'm thinking full 10-15 gallon flush this friday + 2 gal of medium dose nutes afterward as final
real feeding at around ~850-999.

Days 80 & 81 (early afternoon)

Overview:
Temps were in the 68-77f range, with RH in 34-49% range. Not much to speak of other than main light is now at 56" from floor (22-24 from top colas), and they seems to be getting a little fatter\dense in last day or so. Tomorrow is water day, actually late tonight will probably work as she weighs 12.6. Rotated her 180d at some point in last 24hr as well.

Mrs. Widow:

Onto water day we go.. planning a 10 gallon or so flush + 2 gallons 80%'ish dose of nutes.

Day 82 (early early morning 3am-7am) Flushing for fun and games.

Overview:

Temps have been 68-77f, with RH staying in 32-47% range in last 24hr. Slow progress continues on her bud sites, which more and more are starting to look mature. WW was ready for water early this morning so went ahead with plan to flush + re-nute her. Details below though not as detailed as usual cause I didn't actually write too much down, or monitor exit water much except tail end of flush and during gallons of nutes. TLDR... reset her to around 1100ppm and her exit water ph is now too low (6.1-6.4; mostly 6.2x) even with putting in 6.7x water and some added dolomite before the nutes.

Top Shot (post water):

We're gonna need a bigger tent!
I bent out some of her lst'ing a little more just before this shot, tiny attempt to get more
penetration and room for some of the stuff in the center area.

Mrs Widow (in the bath):

--Water report: --
Flushed with 10gallons of evaporated tap, that had on-hand. Took ppms from somewhere around 8-900 down to mid 100's.
Those gallons went in at about 6.6-6.7ph, they came out at 6.3x-6.4x the first half and more like 6.2-6.3x the second half.

Before the last gallon or so of evaptap I threw 2/3rd's a tbsp on dolomite lime powder on top... then flushed that in with the final gallon.
Then I put just under another 1/2 Tbsp of dolomite lime on the top surface again and started in on the 2 nute gallons slowly over
the better part of an hour, after first gallon did the other 1/2 tbsp of dolomite lime on surface.

Nute solution: 14ml bcboost,14ml bc bloom, 2.5ml awe.blossoms ,2.5ml thriveAlive-red,5ml magi-cal and 11.25 ml sugardaddy
Nute solution was about 1250ppm before ph'ing.
Nute solution was 5.7-5.8 ph'd up to 669-7.74

Exits after gallon 1: basically 600-800ppm and 6.2-6.3ph
Exit on the tail end of gallon 2: basically 1080-1250 and 6.1x-6.3xph (booo! on the ph)

Not pleased about the lower ph, guess I flushed out most of the prior dolomite and have not added enough back. I'll throw another 2 tbsp at her next time as well. Harvest is probably 3-4 waters away.... so this was probably her last bloom nute feeding.. less I see something nuts in next couple days, it's just cal-mag and sugar daddy next time. Then nothing but water.

TLDR got like 85% of recommended feeding after flush; ph is off on the low side yet again - sigh.
--end water report ---

That's about all I got today. Had planned to do patient trich check today but too tired... maybe tomorrow.
Considering trying another inch or two lower on the lights for these final two weeks... but trying to let this watering playout first at the stable 56" baseline before attempting any lower. Current levels are about the maximum closeness WW has ever liked.
:Namaste:

Final straight before the finish line! :thumb:

How's the smell so far? If I recall correctly, White Widow has an earthy and spicy aroma (but it's been years, so I might be wrong).
Funny, actually this morning I was trying to come up with "what would I call this smell" during watering (The things one will do while being bored pouring water on a plant for hours), I came up with spicy piney.. even though it's probably not a good description.

The CC was different smell sort of earthy too I guess but more like idk. peppermint\spearmint which maybe makes sense with the name, definitely a more in your face smell though.

BTW - Smoking more of the cc jar I picked to put aside that had few days of drying and now about a week of cure - mmmm good. Not crazy, not couch locky, already seems less harsh than some of that fluff from a week ago, and less couch locky then early stuff (which trichome wise makes little sense..but whatever) It's so cool to able to use the hand-held non-usb scope to check out what I'm about to smoke - see I found at least some use for it. Bottom line though I was stoned all night a day or two ago on < .5gm, and was able to just enjoy it while I actually got some work done (programming), exactly the sort of thing I wanted out of CC - something I could still be active with -if needed. The WW I'm more going for "knock me out-to-sleep\dull back pain please".

Day 83 - Evening

[posted on day 84]

Overview: Temps 68-77; RH 33-47% last 24hr. Eh, not much to report on any front. Been a day since flush'n'feed, definitely don't look better, not that I was expecting that. little taco'ish action on some of the leaves up higher, day or so ago they were def also pointing higher angle... guessing I've about hit the light limit, not going to touch anything either way for a day or two and just see if gets worse or better, but I'm guessing I'm done moving the lights lower. ~56" from floor it is.

Mrs. Widow:

You know what's weird is some of the stuff down low on the side looks more "done" then stuff on top.

Day 84 - Pruning and Pictures

Overview:
Temps stable in 68-77 range, RH 32-48%, nice that last couple days been able to keep sleeptime humidity < 50%, and checking often I most commonly see about 75f and 38'ish RH. Today I pulled WW out to just give her an all around looking at and clear out her deadfall. Also so many leaves started to actually brown\curl out that I figured i'd bust out the clippers and cut most those tips back. If nothing else it would cause less light to be blocked. Buds are growing into the dam walls and front zipper now...really annoying.

She still appears to be consuming herself though. I took out the USB scope and went to down again with 70 pics, 40 thought might turn out clear enough, pfft.. more like 15, but more on that later, on to the daily porn.

Top Shot:

Mrs. Widow:

Well... so many dead leaves again... with at least I think 10 days to go, look at the bright side though,
at least it's less to have to trim off. :)

Trichome pics:
So the first couple are from down low\ low-sides (but around the top of whatever nug it was); then last couple are more toward top\center ish

My read is overall - even though I spot a couple leaves with some amber (the are def. minority), overall lots still seem clear to me.. so idk 50-60% cloudy with an occasional amber is how I'd put it for most of the plant, seems she's probably got another week to 10 days to me.

Though there are couple nugs down at the bottom that a definitely more cloudy than ones higher up.... weird, but then with all that side light action and better air flow and stuff idk maybe it's not so weird, or maybe this plant actually does better with less light.

:Namaste:

Looking good buddy! Hang on in there. I got bored of waiting for the trichomes on my last white widow to cloud up even though she had gone past day 70 of flower. She was still a pretty potent smoke ..

Day 85 and Day 86 (morning) - Time for a drink.

Overview: Temps have been 68-75f & 68-77f over last 48hr, RH holding in the 31-47% range. Man I can't wait till I can be in this room with 40% humidity again...lol gonna feel wet by comparison to the last month in here. giggle.

Anyway Day 85 went by with nothing of note, and this morning (86) I watered the remaining Widow with just calmag and sugardaddy and little touch of awesome-blossoms just to have a little p-k in the mix, technically she was due water yesterday, but I decided to let her go a little drier this time.

Top Shots:

Close ups...eh nothing changed in last day, save for next update.

---water log ---
start weight: 11.7
water type: 1 gallons of distilled
I threw 1 tbsp of dolomite lime powder on top of soil prior to watering.

Nute solution: 0.5ml awe-blossoms,4ml magi-cal, and 10ml sugar daddy
Nute solution was about 280ppm before ph'ing.
Nute solution was 6.2 ph'd up to 6.75-6.85

Exit sample after gallon 1:

Basically 550-600ppm and 6.5-6.7ph over 4 cups and tray.
In:3750ml ; Out: 400ml

Notes: some of the dolomite seemed to just run right through the soil, noticeable in exit samples. Exit weight: 19.5

---

Hopefully the burning stops now, not many leaves left to fall off...lol

Other:
Not that it really matters but forgot to mention a couple days ago I found a medium sized black spider in the tent.
I guess he crawled in via one of the vents, he looked mostly like normal spider to me. Not that worried about it, last thing I need though is Black Widows hanging out with My White Widows. :--) I killed him, and spayed around the vents (pretty much just the vent lining itself) with my usual household pesticide while Mrs. widow was in the bathroom being watering a couple days back. Not seen anything since.

Thanks Muzzybuds. Yeah last 7 days have been pretty quite as she gets ready for hopefully her final push to the end, she's coming down no matter if she's really ready or not by end of first week of October (or sooner). Being 86 from seed, she's probably only around day 55 in flower-mode as of today.

Days 89 and 90 - Water time.

Overview:
Temps last 24-48hr have been 68-77f, RH 32-48%, staying in the 30's most of the time, in fact I've killed the 'dry' function for a few hours here and there as to stop things from getting below 30. She got water this morning, she was supposed to get some last night but I fell asleep. I'll take another look at trichomes tomorrow, but progress wise I don't see anything getting any fatter really or iced up much more in the last couple days and I don't foresee that changing so she'll probably get the chop this coming Friday or Saturday. Water after this around Tuesday will be full 10-15 gallon flush and I may move the lights down an inch or two for the final 2-3 days late in the week.

BTW it's not that I been lazy the last couple days keeping up with journal, it's just there isn't much going on.

Top Shots:

Mrs. Widow:

A little less dead fall and 'new' burn in the last 2 days, but seriously there is not much left that could fall off anyway.
