Is it just my eyes, or does that bud have no visible pistils? My initial thought was that she's cannibalizing one top to reapply those nutrients to all the rest, but then no pistils?

Not your eyes mate, there appear to be no pistils on that bud. It's really weird, never seen it before.
I've moved the lights away a bit as it may be foxtailing caused by heat/light stress but we'll see what happens

Update:

10 Weeks old now and still going strong. Super Skunk is about 2 weeks away from harvest in my opinion but could be 3. AK49 is starting to flower nicely and is looking like she will give a good yield. She didn't seem phased from the damage I did to her which is good so looking forward to seeing what she produces.

Took some trich shots of the Super Skunk so let me know what you guys think in relation to time until flush!

Update:

Still all good in the hood, not really too much to tell. Looks like the AK49 has finished stretching and is starting to bud up nicely. Super Skunk is still fattening up which is good to see but I'll post some trich pics in the next couple of days so we can see how far away she is.

Also forgot to mention, however you may have noticed, I have added a CO2 bag as I have heard nothing but good things about them. Not really sure how to tell when it is working as the instructions don't say but hoping to see some positive results soon.

Update:

Thought I'd put up some more pictures as the AK49 has gone insane! Biggest plant I've ever grown and I'm hoping the biggest harvest too. I've pulled the branches apart as much as I can and removed a whole bunch of leaves, so hoping the light can get all the way through and really fill up with buds.

Snapped some trich shots of the Super Skunk too, looks like it's about a week or so away from flushing but really want to have your guys input on this one as I'm still not confident here.

Thanks sneaky, I'm loving these two!! It's a shame about the foxtailing on the Super Skunk but I've read that most people still smoke them and find it no different, so hopefully all will be good there. Otherwise the rest of the plant is looking lovely

do you switch to flower nutes when they bud? I got no experience with autos but that's what reveg looks like on photos.

I use Canna coco so its A+B the whole way through but I also add bloom boosters.
Some of the trich pics are the strange looking buds and they have the same trichs as the others so I don't know what to think

Either way if it's got trichs it'll have thc .

The last time I grew a Super Skunk this didn't happen so not sure at all. Took some more trich pics so you can see what they're like and as long as they look the same as the others I will smoke them haha

Update:

Our Super Skunk is ripening up nicely now as most of the pistils have turned a nice amber colour and trichs appear to be cloudy now. I'm thinking of starting flush soon but will wait and see how she goes.
AK49 is still going nuts. Heaps of bud growth over the past few days and looks like the stems should fill up nicely. Not too much to tell otherwise but all is good

Super Skunk has a Frankenbud. That thing has to be 25cm taller than the rest of the plant and twice the girth of every other branch.

I think I'm going to start flushing the Super Skunk tonight ready for Harvest next Sunday, but would love to have some input on what you guys think.
I'm going for more of a heady stone rather than body and have been advised to look for about 20% amber trichs to start flushing. I'm pretty sure I see that now but always love others opinions!!

The norm is to harvest at roughly 10% amber trics which means the flush would have already been done for some days, and this is aiming at a mostly heady, but also some body stone too. I personally also like the heady high and am not a huge fan of the stronger body stones, so I shoot for the lower 10% region, or less if possible. It'll likely be a give or take situation as at that stage, there are still plenty of clear trics, but the more ambers I see, the more concerned I become. My first harvest was of a Skunk variation, and even though it was likely poor growing conditions, but it ended up growing a lot of late bloom fox tails that messed everything else up as the original trics started to amber, the foxtail trics were all still clear. The struggle is real my friend!

Update:

It's been a while since my last post as I have been looking for a new place to live and haven't had the time I would like to be here, so I must apologise.

However, I have since harvested the Super Skunk and am currently enjoying it's rewards. Turned out to be 137.2 grams all up which I'm pretty happy with, but that is including the foxtailed buds, which turned out to be about 30% of the overall haul. Seems to smoke just as well though but not as nice tasting. So I've decided to mix it with the good bud and there is none the wiser lol. As long as I get high I'm happy.

I think it was harvested a bit early to be honest as the trichs didn't amber up as much as I thought they would during the flush. So in hindsight, 1-2 more weeks would be more ideal.
