Hey guys,

Back again with another couple of plants in my Auto garden.

Details:
What strain is it? Vision Seeds - AK49 Auto + Royal Queen Seeds - Bubble Kush Auto Both seeds have come from plants I grew previously that hermied.
Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? Both Hybrid
Is it in Veg or Flower stage? Seedling
Indoor or outdoor? Indoor
Soil or Hydro? 75% Coco/25% Perlite
Size of light? 6x CFL's + 2x Mars ProII Epistar 160's
Is it aircooled? 6" Inline Duct Fan + 6" Carbon Filter
Temp of Room/cab? Between 20-30 Celcius (Depending on season)
RH of Room/cab? Between 30%-75%
How often are you watering? Every 2-3 days as seedlings moving up to daily as age progresses
Type and strength of ferts used? Canna Coco A+B + Silica + Seasol+Cannazym+PK 13/14+Sensi Bio Diesel+AN Bud Candy


I'm using my tried and tested nutrient schedule as below but will be adding Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy to the mix to see if I can improve the taste. I've also started adding CalMag periodically as it seems to improve their health quite a bit.

Canna Coco A & B 0.5 ml per liter if using Worm Casting at 50% or 1 ml per liter if using WC @ 30% or less
Seasol 4ml per liter
Silica 0.25ml per liter
Total E.C. approx 0.4 to 0.7

Day 14 to Day 28/Week 3-4
Canna Coco A & B 1.5 to 2 ml per liter
Seasol 4ml per liter
Cannazym 2.5 ml per liter
Silica 0.5ml per liter
Total E.C. approx 1.0 to 1.3

Day 28 to DAY 35/Week 5
Canna Coco A & B 2.0 to 2.5 ml per liter
Seasol 4 ml per liter
Cannazym 2.5 ml per liter
PK 13/14 1.5 ml per liter (Not recommended to use this for more than 1 week)
Boost 2.0 to 2.5 ml per liter
Silica 1ml per liter
Total E.C. approx 1.8

Day 35 to Day 53/Week 6-7.5
Canna Coco A & B 2.0 to 2.5 ml per liter
Seasol 2 ml per liter
Cannazym 2.5 ml per liter
Boost 3 to 4 ml per liter
Silica 1ml per liter
Total E.C. approx 1.5

Day 53 to Day 60/Week 8.5-9.5
Cannazym 2.5 ml per liter
Total E.C approx 0.2



Seeds started off well and have started to flourish nicely.
I decided to use some more seeds that I got from some hermied plants in a previous grow as they are strong seeds. So will be good to see how this batch turns out.
I've decided to try adding some Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy to the mix so I'm expecting some nicer flavours at harvest time.

Another difference is I've decided to add in a Soil pot as I had some left over stuff used for other plants and only had enough coco for two pots. I'm not expecting too much from this as the soil isn't anything special but it will go in the grow tent with the others and we'll see what happens.
I actually put two seeds in this pot cause I wasn't sure if they would pop, but turns out both did lol. So I will have to pull one out, I'm just waiting to see which one is the stronger starter.

Otherwise there isn't too much to tell but I'll try and keep updates coming as often as possible.

Here are some pictures from my last grow which I never did a journal for.
The strains were AK49 & Bubble Kush, the same as this round, but these plants were neglected and beaten to hell for the first half of their life. Because they were sitting behind larger plants, I often forgot they were there and therefore neglected to water/feed them as much as they would have liked. They also got knocked over a couple of times, had branches broken and taped back up and also had the stems split a couple of times due to some accidents in the tent.
In the end, I still managed to yield 6.3 Ounces from the AK49 and the bud is very high quality. Most are very dense and all are sticky as hell with a beautiful fruity aroma. The high is very strong, uplifting and puts one in a happy relaxed mood.
The Bubble Kush only yielded 2.5 ounces due to being so much smaller but it also has nice, dense buds with a good strong indica high. Much more couchlocky than the AK49, but has that distinct Kush smell and taste.
All over, I'm really happy with the results considering the poor treatment for the first half of their lives and thought I would share some pics so you can see how they turned out.

I did mate, I always try to get rid of all the bottom growth so the girls can concentrate on all the good stuff up top

Only if you have buds not getting any light. But do a little defol first, it will help open them up and all more light down there

I am a photo type of guy, I have mother's clones and a scrog running along with some more autos under LEC 4K BULB, , think it killed stretch but my 3k blew

I think that this light will def reach the lowers even if harvest 2 sections top give it a week and lower light and then lowers will.bulk up it even says to start seedlings 7 ft away or they will die and no closer than 30" until last two weeks then drop to.18" for rock hard nugz

I will defoil a little bit more but to me if it's that hard to get to a branch there is a better one that will get better if that one isn't there but again I am a photo guy so it's totally different I am new to autos I thought mephisto genetics would have been HUGE plants my big ones are heavyweight auto seeds

Update:

All the girls are doing well so far and are looking really happy. All have been topped, but the two Coco girls have had a bunch of LST which has made them go crazy, particularly AK49.
The Bubble Kush in Soil is about 4 weeks old now and a lot smaller than the others, which is to be expected, but still doing really well. I've given her a couple of feeds of Seasol and GH 3-Part mix which she seems to be liking. I will do some LST as she gets a little bigger but I don't expect it will be much.
Our other two are about 6 weeks old now and really thriving. I can see they are starting to stretch, so I'm hoping to see them grow quite a bit larger over the coming week or so. Here's hoping anyway lol

I have added the second LED now which should give the girls a lot more room to spread out and get all the light they could want. Otherwise, all is good and happy

The girls are looking amazing and just starting to have flowers turn in to buds
AK49 is like a forest and I find I'm cutting out a good two handfuls or more of leaves every 2-3 days to try and keep her from going too nuts. This is a good thing though, she is really thriving and I can't wait to see the buds she produces.

Bubble Kush has grown insanely tall! I'm not sure what made her stretch so much as the lights were only around 20" away when stretch started. She seems to be liking it though as every time I moved the lights away she stretched more, so I just let her go. She is showing very mild signs of heat stress on the very top leaves but other than that she is happy as Larry.

The Bubble Kush in soil is another story unfortunately. She hasn't grown too much at all and is showing large signs of calmag deficiency. I am topping her up but I'm not sure how well she will do. She seems to have some decent sized flowers, so it will be interesting to see the kinds of buds she will produce, but I'm not expecting too much.

All in all, things are pretty good so hopefully all stays on track.

Update:

The girls are budding up really nicely and looking like they are almost finished. Bubble Kush looks like she is a week or two ahead of the AK49 which is a bit annoying as I prefer to harvest everything at the same time, but can't control these things.

I have taken some Trich pics for you guys to check out and I'd really appreciate any opinions on how long you think they have to go.
I'm thinking Bubble Kush has another week or two before 7 days of flush and AK49 probably has another 2-3 weeks before flush. But I'd really love your opinions on this as I'm always a little unsure of myself at this stage.

The Bubble Kush in soil seems to be doing ok, a few yellow leaves and not the largest yield but the buds seem dense and have an awesome smell to them. I think she also has another 2-3 weeks before flush but let me know what you guys think!

Your autos are looking very nice! Lots of frosty buds still growing. Are the trichomes milky already? They both looked that way. Looking very nice!

I'm going to grow some autos outside in the ground this summer. Trying to get a handle of how they grow.

Update:

The girls are almost done now. It's looking like Bubble Kush is ready and AK49 has another week or two to go. I'd like to only have to do one harvest but I think I will have to harvest Bubble Kush a week or so before AK. Either way they are looking pretty good, but AK49 is looking outstanding. Her buds are nice and fat with a shitload of trichromes absolutely everywhere.

The girls have also been moved in to a larger tent. After seeing the success I've been having my house mate wants in on the action lol. So we got a 2.4x1.2x2m tent and have another light that should be arriving next week. I'm thinking we will need another light to completely cover the space but three should be enough for the time being.....I think. We'll see anyway.

Again I'd love to hear any opinions on how long you guys think the girls have until harvest!

You must be looking for the body effects from your ladies. My understanding is that if you wait to long, the THC starts to degrade. I'm not an indica guy, so I always pull mine before trichomes turn amber. Just a preference call, that's all. And it's your call.
They do look very nice!
