Update:

Both girls are looking gorgeous as now! They have grown massively and have flowers forming everywhere so I'm really happy. Not much else to say really, things are going well, the girls are happy and all is good haha.

Update:

Think Big is now about 8 weeks old and starting to bud up nicely. I gave her a nice bit of lollipopping today to get rid of all the little buds towards the bottom of the plant as i could see they weren't going to grow in to anything special. I'm hoping now she can concentrate on all the tops and make the fat and juicy.

Super Skunk is 7 weeks old and is already starting to fatten up. She has a lot of nice bud sites with a few showing orange pistols and with nice space between the branches, she is getting light all the way to the pot. Her stems have really strengthened up so I'm looking forward to what I think will be a decent yield from this girl

So you top your auto's, i have been growing auto's for 2 years, always read only LST. I guess you have found topping ok. Maybe top one in next go around I have had to do some Super Cropping on a few that got to big..

Yeah that's an old wives tale. I've been growing and topping autos for about two years and never had anything but good results from it. Google Autobeast as he is the mentor that taught me

Update:

Both girls are still coming along nicely however I am seeing some yellowing leaves on both plants which has caused me slight concern. I have upped the calmag to 2ml/L in case they're just greedy for it but otherwise I can't quite think what it could be. Any ideas?

Think Big has just hit 10 weeks old and her buds are filling out nicely. She's starting to show a few orange pistols but mainly still all white and I'm guessing another 2-3 weeks until starting flush. However that is just a guess and will start checking trichs in a week or so to get a better idea.

Super Skunk on the other hand is looking very close to being ripe! A whole bunch of her pistols have turned orange over the past week and she is stinking like crazy. I'm thinking she may be ready to start flushing next week but I will wait a few more days before making that decision. I also need to take some trich pics but haven't had things setup properly to do so at the moment. Keep an eye out though.

You might also notice a couple of other plants in the cabinet behind the current girls. A journal for those will be coming shortly.

Update:

Sorry for the delay guys but I have been moving house and things have been a bit all over the place this last couple of weeks.
The girls did ok in the move though and now have a nice new 1.2x1.2x2M tent to live in that they seem to be enjoying.

I have a few trich pics for you guys to check out but from what I see I'm thinking Super Skunk is about ready to start flushing but Think Big has a couple more weeks yet. I'd really appreciate you're thoughts though as I'm still not 100% confident with this stuff.

Update:

Some more trich pics for you all to take a look at. Since the move I can't find my camera so I don't have any plant pics but let me know what you think of the below.
I'm thinking Super Skunk looks ready to flush as my eyes see a lot of cloud and amber, but I'd really love some more opinions on this please.

Think Big probably has another week or so to go but again, opinions please!

Update:

Sorry for such a delay with these last few updates, things have been a bit busy in my little world. I did however manage to get a nice harvest completed and the buds are delicious!

Think Big has a nice fruity smell and taste with a nice cerebral high, just like the label advertises. I got about 5 ounces of some decent dense buds, not too airy but not too hard either.

Super Skunk had the much harder nuggets that have a very skunky, earthy smell. She gives a nice mix of body and cerebral high that makes you feel nicely relaxed. Perfect for after work/before bed. I also got 5 ounces from this plant.

So overall I'm pretty damn happy! I think I harvested at just about the right time as both plants are really potent. The only slight issue was that they dried a bit quicker than is ideal due to the dry weather we have been having. Otherwise, all is good and the buds are curing well.
I do have two more plants on the go and just starting to flower, so I'll have a new journal soon. I've just been too busy/lazy to start one so far lol. But watch this space and there should be a new link in the next couple of days!!

Congrats on harvest nice looking colas swollen calyx and nice frost covered, a nice amount for 2 plants are you cure them, I like to cure in turkey bags so when I shake it then it actually moves buds from bottom to top
