My suggestion would be keep things super simple. Keep the water level 1" below the mesh pots. Keep the top watered but not drenched until you get roots below. As soon as those roots drop down theyll perk up 100%. I wouldnt worry to much about it.

Yeah that's where I'm at now. I shut off the air in each bucket so it would stop splashing on the net pot. Kinda let thing dry out a bit. Due to the fact that I'm sure inside the bucket it's 100% humidity everything still stays plenty damp. And like you said I'm sure when I have touchdown. I'll turn everything back on and I bet they explode.

Dont shut off the air in the buckets .. thats what promotes root growth. You water from the top just to keep the roots that are reaching for the lower water damp. The air in the water/nutrients is essential.

Sorry guys been working like crazy. The roots have finally made it to the bottom of the net pot and are just barley popping out. I shut off everything and let things dry out a bit and they perked right up. I'll be doing a water change today and setting the water level about an inch below the net pot. So I went to the emerald cup yesterday and got some seed junky, DJ Short and roots 6.4 genetics for the next run so I'm super stoked on that. I'll get some pics up when I get home. Thanks guys.

So getting some decent growth finally but still baffled as to why the leafs are not as greenaround the edges. The new growth looks better but is still there. I changed all the nutrients and re mixed new ones. I'm using r/o water cutting edge three part per the concentrations on the bottle well about 50-60% dilution and adding cal- mag as well Ppms are around 1000 ph is 5.7-6.0 please help anyone. Also the roots are all growing out of the sides of the pots not the bottom. Is this normal?

Also 10-10 on all the new beans I only planted two of each of my five strains. Only two of the strains are feminized so I'll let fate tell me where to collect pollen. lol

Nice! Things look good dude. That setup is too badass. Keep rocking it! Congrats on the beans. 10/10 that's beauty.

Those numbers sound fine to me! The roots growing out the side is fine to. As long as they're healthy!!

Great looking setup man . I'm definitely hanging around to see this one. I keep my water level literally up to my grow plug until weeks 2 or 3ish then build space...I know this goes against traditional methods but hey it works. Anyways you have a great setup and i can't wait to see how it goes .

Thanks guys for the kind words. I appreciate it. Hopefully all the hard work pays off. Roots look perfect I'll post a pic of them later. In the beginning I kept the water level at the bottom of the pots and everything just seemed overwatered.

Well well well. FINALLY TAKING OFF. So I changed a few things. All I can say is thanks so much to cutting edge I met their sales rep at the Emerald cup and he was able to steer me in the right direction he sent me a chart of which I will post on how to run the proper concentrations of their nutrients in Rdwc. Thank God for this man he truly is a genius things are finally taking off and I will keep you guys updated here's a little porn. I also added some bubble wrap lids. I was getting the tiniest amount of light in the buckets just wanted to check off another box.

No problem man. This was hard to get but finally!! And this is straight from cutting edge and was pretty much a guarantee to work perfectly. He also said if you run another brand of cal-mag use it at 1/3 of the recommended dose.

I was thinking the same thing. That gap from tier one to two looks massive. An specific reason you've got it like that friend?
