Flushing, how long for?

Used the search tool, found alot on when and how to flush, but nothing on how long to flush for, so my question stands how long do we just have the roots in plain ph'd water for in dwc? I was thinking mabye a week? But i didnt want to go too long incase i developed a deficiency.

A week will not be too long, I did ten days my last grow.

This is dwc it only takes about 3days to flush..you dont have to ph the water remember your flushing. If your using ro water about 100ppm of calmag and sweetners are all you need.

So with flushing, you still add things like Cal-mag and "sweeteners"? But you also say you dont think the PH needs to fixed? can you please explain? If flushing with filtered tap water (PPM of 220), you still need to add cal mag and "sweeteners"?

What are the sweeteners you speak of?
