Flushing

I have been doing my final flush for 5 days now and my plants leaves have not started turning yellow yet.
I'm growing two plants in a hydro tote bubbler system.
Do different strains take longer to uptake all of the nutrients it has left?
I have changed the res water once already.

OK, just to help me understand..
You are waiting for harvest.
So you think yellow leaves is a "must".
It isn't
It is more like, if it happens at this point.. No worries.
How are your trichomes?
Could you please upload a picture?

I do not have a recent pic to post right now.
The trichomes are 95% milky and the rest amber.
I just want to make sure I flush out all the nutrients before I cut them down.

You can chop at any time. More than likely, your plants have already used up the available nutes and are "clean". I flush for a week and that's it. I've tested no flush, flush for a week, and flush for 2 weeks and literally there was no difference in flavor, potency, or aroma.
You're good to go....

Yeah man,I just chopped them and hung them in a dark tent with good air flow.
I dry the whole plant, fan leaves and all for 48 hours.
This method drains the leaves of chlorophyll so when you go to trim you don't get chlorophyll all over your buds.
Then I cut off all the fan leaves and leave the sugar buds on.
Then I branch it out,cut in to branches and dry it until the stems split but don't snap.
