Spurred on by my joy of Fluxing I've decided to do another 4. I will grow 2 in a greenhouse under the sun and 2 in a tent under a Budmaster II 675XG LED.

What strain is it? - Blue Venom.
Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? - Indica.
If in Veg... For how long? - Going to veg until early August when I think the outdoor girl will flip.
Flowering time? - ~60 days.
Pot size - 78 litres.
Soil or Hydro? - Soil. Homemade organic soil.
Size of light? - T5 for vegging. Budmaster II 675XG LED for flowering indoors. Sun outdoors.
LED Light specifics - Consumption: 380 Watts. Power: 675 Watts.
Size of tent? - 1.2M x 1.2M(4' x 4').
Type and strength of ferts used? - None. Water and homemade compost tea.

G13 quote:

"G13 Labs Blue Venom: Once you get bitten there is no antidote, Blue Venom is a cup winning Blueberry crossed and another cup winning White Widow to create a potent, compact, great tasting, great yielding Super Indica. This is a must have for any connoisseur or who appreciates quality."

Re: Fluxing 4 x Blue Venom. 2 indoors and 2 outdoors for comparison. Spring/Summer 20

My soil mix is as follows:

Organic soil mix
10 litres compost
2.5 litres homemade compost
5 litres coir
5 litres perlite
1 litres rock dust
500 millilitres alfalfa
200 millilitres charge(beetle poo)
25 millilitres garden lime
80 grams kelp meal
40 grams fish, blood & bone
1/3 cup neem meal
1/3 cup crab meal
8 tbsp eggshells
1/2 cup basmati rice

The above is cooked for a minimum of one month and preferably two months.

The compost tea is as follows:

Compost tea (4 gallons)
430 millilitres compost
90 millilitres molasses
35 millilitres kelp
10 millilitres rock dust

I usually use half of the above to save the bubbles overflowing the bucket. The molasses causes big bubbling.

They are topped to leave only 2 arms which will be tethered down to create a 'T' shape. Once they are long enough to tether I will post more pics.

The reason I never topped lower where there were 2 other arms is that I wanted a bit more height so I could sink the pot lower when they get put into the final pot.

They were seeded in 1 litre fabric pots and then planted into 8 litre pots once roots started to appear outside the smaller pot. The roots would only appear outside where 2 pots were next to each other and no light was visible. Where light is visible, no roots will show outside these pots.

The 1 litre pots contained a soft soil mix as follows:

Potting mix
10 litres compost - sieved
5 litres coir
2.5 litres perlite
1 litres home made compost

The 8 litre pots had the organic mix that had been cooking for over 2 months.

You're welcome budddyy. I'm all about helping and sharing info.

Hmm seems an interesting technique :) I think ill subb along if ya have room for a littleun! :)

You're always welcome @ MedFarmers my friend. It sounds like you had a good time in Spain which pleases me :cheesygrinsmiley:.

You've got me hooked on Fluxing Professor :cheesygrinsmiley:. Once and for all I wanted to see whether outdoor growing in England is worth the effort. The past couple of summers have been okay for growing but I want to compare it to indoors growing. If outdoors does not meet indoors growth then no more outdoors for me. What better way than to have 2 in and 2 out for comparison.

39 days from seed.

I have now pinned down the 2 main Flux arms on 3 of the plants. This creates the 'T' which will send the plant in 2 different directions. I made sure to pin the arms a little way back from the main tip to allow the main tip to turn upwards for light. I also teased the uppermost leaf on the tip to get it facing upwards. This is important to get good growth and so allow secondary arms to be spaced closer.

The first picture here shows the plant before I pinned here arms down and stripped the lower growth.

I don't know what I've done on Plant no.3 but I've got to wait for the arms to grow a bit. I'll decide which pair of arms to keep very soon.

I have 2 going well and 2 which had the arms split but I shall not give up hope on any of them. Vegging seems to be slow under the T5 but moving all the same.

Plants 3 & 2 are on the right track.

Plants 1 & 4 are being mended :cheesygrinsmiley:

Plant no.1 had an arm broken off so she is now going to Flux with one arm acting as the main stem.

Plant no.4 has an arm propped up until it mends.

It is looking like 3 & 2 will be split indoors/outdoors as will 1 & 4. That way a good and a bad plant will be on each side of the comparison.
