You lot crack my up lol, I just tip jugs of nutrient solution straight through foliage and water within 1 min lol. I've gone past all the taking perfect care rubbish, I don't even use a tube anymore, just give the pot a kick once done to knock off water droplets!

I think ive gotten lazy lol, but this is a weed of a plant and don't need much to grow, so I just don't fuss much anymore

OK folks so my Dedoverde is being topped later, but I'm taking a graft off her first, for my other thread. So she isn't your normal topping at the third node! Yep for any who are new to fluxing, I top at the third node. This is in my opinion is the first node that is established enough or has the structure to take the main flux point!

OK so as said this flux wasn't started in the normal way! I have a bunch of young girls ( the yellow lot or hungry ones ) these are all for grafting purposes on my other thread. So I basically grew em all a bit lanky so I could take away the top portion for grafting and still end up with some small baby fluxes to play with!

I selected the Dedoverde as she looked to have the best nodal spacing. I've then lopped off her top and all other surplus foliage, then potted her up in a 5 gal pot.
Now normally her limbs would be far better in structure and I'd also have her sank slightly deeper. Yet this is going to be one BIG girl and a long path, so I've let her sit slightly higher, giving me the ability to run my garden canes through the pot rim, giving me my training frame!

Will she stay in a 5 gal pot or will you be going bigger? I'm of the thinking a 3 gal would have been big enough for mine.

Well my last 20+ oz flux stayed in a 5 gal pot. Yet this one will be going into a big flat planter at some point and probably end up with a 10-12 gal rootzone! I'm not messing about with this girl lol, I'm gonna make her go nuts!
