Way to jump in on the defoliation! Takes a while, and it's a little nerve wracking the first time or two you do it, huh? My gal (not the ones in my tent) fell asleep tonight before I could pluck her.

It's the diminishing light schedule. Just give her a root stimulant when lights come back on!

I tried BPN to perk mine back up, but she says it tastes terrible.

Thanks 420fied. Your grow has definitely been one of my major inspirations.
It's been a couple days since last update. The defoliation certainly stopped the stretch, I think the tallest girls might have put on an inch at most in five days. We're going to be good for overall height, as of now. Nobody's going to get within the approximate 10" limit to this 1KW bulb.
I'm so used to measuring height now that it's a little disappointing, other than that the buds seem to be getting bigger and more fragrant by the day. Definitely sprouting replacement fan leaves, which I'll be trimming in a week or so, but the big surprise for me, when I reached in to water some of the girls in the back...

I know we're probably just getting started down this path, but my arm has sticky spots all over it. Closer look at the flowers shows some of the action.
Anyway, that's the exciting bit.
Overall report, the first batch is now on Day 22 of 12/12
And the second batch, still trying to decide who's going to survive and who's not, are on Day 8.

Lovin your hempies man cant believe all you guys runnin BPN what have I been missin out on its pretty cool to have ur mentors and nute specialist/friends write you everyday and give you tips and hints but the only thing I really wanna avoid in my hempies (check my sig 18 strains) is the huge internodal stretch ive noticed on the ones im flowering is that straight up bottom growth comes off like usual bottom 1/3 buds are alot thicker ill do my flower room update tonight u should check it out but im subbed for this ride and if I figure how to +rep u got it and 5*'s

Might try supercropping them up to the 3rd week of flower once stretch slows down. There is nothing like a crazy looking s-shaped tripple cola that is thick as hell

for the input BPN ive been supercropping at about 11 inches but havent been doing it in flower didnt want any stress on them but ill strat trying it but I am gonna run mh the first 2 weeks of flower to keep em short but Im getting pretty compact buds now on my single colas im updating now check my grow in 10 mins.

Ok BPN but how low do u guys usually supercrop from the top node and do you guys just squeeze or pinch or kinda break ive been using pliers to supercrop with just a small squeeze with the needle noses.

Oohh, might try some of that. I'm good to go for height at this point, but if we can slow down the stretch on the new girls a bit and still get them up to 20-14" total, that could be very nice. These last ones were transplanted poorly (my fault) and I didn't dare risk any more stress.
