I'm in the rockies, hard to grow quality photo period plants that get nice dense buds n fully ripe. I grow scrog and force flower a few weeks until natural light cycle is where it needs to be. I used a tarp and taped black 4 mil poly to both sides, built a cage with hog wire over the screen so I can tarp over and completely black out the plant. Look at future sunrise sunset tables, figure out when your light cycles will start and stop and start covering a few weeks prior. Be consistent on covering and uncovering times! I get fully set buds about same time others are just starting to flower and harvest before freezing temps. I've tried growing outdoor without force flowering and have snow on the ground before even get a cloudy trichome. I've since switched to doing autos outdoors.
