Hi everyone! Love and respect to all. So much knowledge and so many stories here! Thank you 420magazine for making this available. I've posted a few words and pics about my small greenhouse grow and making hash but I've seen so many great indoor tent grows that I wanted (and needed) to try it myself.
I'm retired, on social security and use cannabis medically and recreationally. Fortunately I live in the high(hehe)desert in Southern California so legally I'm ok, however, my demand exceeds my limited income so for this reason as well as control over what goes into/onto my plants, I decided to stick an AK-47 my brother gave me in the ground. After thwarting the budworms with a mosquito net, I got some sweet buds. Last spring I built small greenhouse, started following this awesome site, and as you can see from my posts, was blessed with a nice harvest of Afghani and AK-47. I learned EVERYTHING from you all. THANK YOU. So, here we go:

I pulled a few seeds out of some purple punch and dos I dos that purchased from my local dispensary. I separated them using the seed sexing method that I saw here. Will it work? I dunno but it's worth a try.
I did a bit of research and here is what came up with.
Vivosun 36"x20"x62 tent
Vivosun 4" inline 195 c.f. fan
Giixer 1000w full spectrum LED grow light
General Hydroponics Calimagic, Flora micro,
Flora grow, Flora bloom
Natural organic perlite
Viagrow coco coir
Total cost: approx. $250.00

I will be setting up my tent and reconstituting, rinsing and mixing my 70/30 ratio coco and perlite. I plan on using rockwool cubes in coco in solo cups, transplanting to 2litre bottles in the hope that I can get a female or two out of four seeds germinated before transplanting to 3 gal pots. My goal is two healthy girls in my tent. As I proceed I will be taking pics. Thank you all for any comments, advice, etc.

Hi everyone. Love and respect to all! I'm gonna start by sawing a chunk of coco off this brick with a saws-all and putting it in a bucket with water. Wow! A 2" chunk makes quite a bit. I'm glad I did my research because the saws-all worked great and gives me a manageable amount to rinse, charge with calmag and mix with the perlite.

Hi everyone. Love and respect to all! I've double buffered my coco with cal mag and it's draining in preparation for the addition of the perlite at about 70%/30% ratio. In the meantime, I've got four out of four purple punch seeds that have popped and I've placed them in rockwool cubes under the dome. I'm a little worried about the intensity of the light so I placed a white bandana over the dome to shade the cubes a little until the seed heads emerge.

Yes I did and it looks easier to use and less expensive as well. I purchased the cal mag, and the three pack of the GH flora micro, grow and bloom. I will probably get by with those because I'm only planning to finish two plants. My brother gave me a couple of feminized white widow seeds that I may use for my next grow. I'm really getting ahead of myself here but I will look into MC for my next grow. By that time I'll be sprouting my Afghani and AK-47 for my small greenhouse grow!

Hello everyone. Love and respect to all! Week one for the purple punch, two of the four sprouts were spindly and weak looking. I believe i may have used the diluted nutes a little early on the punch which may explain the yellowing. The new sprout is dos I dos and it looks good I think. I'll give water only to this one for a little longer.

Hello everyone! Love and respect to all. Well, the two larger purple punch babies are 11 days old and it looks like they'll survive. The
smaller sprout is a Dos I dos and I will hold off giving nutes for a while. I really didn't realize how powerful this LED light is so I raised it to 24" and they like it better. So, after trying my best to do the worst i.e. too early nutes, too much light, these wonderful, resilient little things are looking ok and I'm grateful for that. I've read so much about silicon that I went ahead and got some armour si and will be adding it to the mix. I got the recipe from the growing with coco site. I started with a PH around 5.8 and my ec at around 587. I do have a question about ec. The ingoing should be
Between 300 and 500 and the runoff around 1200? Please explain if you know. Anyways, have a great, stoned day. I started mine by flower vaping some of my Afghani. What a great taste!

They have definitely grown since Thursday! Great work , I still haven’t dropped my purple punch yet but the dosidos are coming along . I like the way the dosidos leaves shine once you go into flower.

Hi everyone! Love and respect to all. Here we are at 15 days. Looking good, feeding full nutes to the big 'uns 557 ppm, 5.8 PH. Half strength to the baby. Waiting for one more set of leaves to get a little bigger and I'll top them. After growing outdoors in a greenhouse for a couple of years using feminized seeds, I had forgotten the anticipation of waiting for the sex to become apparent. I will be transplanting to 2 litre bottles tomorrow. Nice day to be stoned.

Hi, love and respect to all. Day 22 for the two Purple Punch and day 14 for the Dos i Dos. Everything seems to be ok . Gonn a put the 2 into 3gallon fabric pots soon. Even though they are doing well with the G H nutes, I'm gonna try the MC next time even if only because it seems to be easier all the way round. Nutes are running around 625 ppm. PH around 5.8-6.0
