Freedom Dream Community Grow Journal

Great to see activism in action.:bravo:

We have neighbours with young kids and family a few doors up, so our activism tends to be less local. I'm sure without family in the neighbourhood it would be different. But like yourself, we are always looking for opportunities to share our knowledge.

Peace. :peace:

Figured I'd post my freedom dream gals.

I grew 5 females outdoor (planted probably 20 seeds?)

No germ just plopped right into a bucket.

Males grew bananas faster than I've ever seen. Maybe 2 weeks into the season? So strange.

Got an oz dry of really airy but nice smelling bud. Total CBD. No high at all when smoked.

That's great that you got some nice CBD bud from them. Unfortunately, all of ours have died. We'll try again next year when we'll have more privacy.

:goodjob:

I would honestly think about buying different genetics for CBD. Nugs look nice but again very fluffy and not the best quality. Like Dana said, this is more of a breeder strain to add CBD to something else.

Hope all is well in your world.

Thanks for sharing this grow with us.

Please head over to the 420 Strain Reviews forum and post your smoke report there too.

I’m moving this to Completed Journals now.

Have you started a new grow you would like to share with us?

If so, please feel free to start a new journal here: Journals in Progress

You can use the Report Post feature found at the bottom left of every post and we'll move it for you right away.

Sending you lots of love and positive energy.

:Namaste:

IN my novice opinion...I'm gonna put my money on autos. ... My instinct says the early balls, pre-flowers, high stress if topped or fm'd behavior are not characteristic of photo- periods.

Soooo who knows...we will watch you guys for anticipating results. Thank goodness you're on it...welcome to mystery grow theatre! ..

2 years ago we got yard for the garden and someone must have thrown a few of those overgrow seeds in there... 4 found 4 cannabis plants in my backyard and moved them to the garden. 3 of them turned out to be males and one was a female, I let them grow for a while and the female made a bunch of seeds.

I didn't expect the seeds that fell to the ground to grow this year, well they did, and boy did they!, about 20 plants sprouted, I weeded out the males and this time kept the 4 nicest females. I'm not a hundred percent sure it's the freedom dream strain but the samples I took did not get me high at all. So I let them go for a while and one grew to around 10 foot tall, I just harvested most of them because I was starting to be afraid someone might steal them even though they are worthless, I included some pictures.

In my humble opinion the Freedoms are Auto Hemp.

They will give you 5-10% CBD with less than 1% THC. They are useful as a Medical strain, but a waste of time as a Recreational strain.

This is a good medical or practice strain. And the price is right.

In case anyone else wants to participate in this again, a new thread is open under Growers Lounge. Appears many people in the nation still haven't heard of this campaign.....time to change all that

After reading through this posting, I am more than comfortable growing the high CBD strain that it is listed as, since I was only going to use it for breeding into high THC plants anyhow, and making medicine to help with my ailments

Not to mention the several dozen I will plant all over the city, with photos evidence of course

4th time grower from BC Canada.
I have read through this thread and others in search of results in the FD grow.
I agree that they are an unstable cbd hemp genetics since I threw 3 out of 6 plants out after only 2 weeks! I have never grew autos before so I researched extensively to find the only answer to be root bound plants may flower as a stress signal which coinsides with the strains picky germ tendency. I currently had no problem germing but found them more stressed than my others even though no root buildup to then grow nuts two weeks in running 19.5-4.5. They wanted a forever home but I transplanted . I hope the three I have don't herm on me. Here's one FD 16 days in

3-1/2 weeks FD in 600w hps

Little foxtailing after changing to sunlight from a window but here's a six weeker being flushed
Note this is an educational grow since I never tried Auto or high CBD which in this case refers to industrial grade hemp.
Negative factors- 12 hour lighting since my photo's are priority
-in same pot as nutrient whore manifolded photo plant seemed to need less nutrients
- didn't receive priority lighting in back of room
- half ass rip out transplanting to cup of water a few days ago after spotting male stamen

I started some of these. Wondering how long the males take to show their sex? I have one a few weeks old, and it looks like pollen sacks on what is basically a seedling? Thanks for any kickback...
