Well that brings it back to the predator theme nicely

These seem to be running all over my concrete courtyard, hiding in the cracks. Pretty small but not tiny. Any ideas?

I'd say 1/16" (1.6mm), maybe a bit smaller. And pretty quick for a bug that size.

The fact that they’re just cruising around on the ground makes me think they’re not a garden threat. But I could be wrong... still, you’d think they’d be on a plant or looking for a plant if they were a plant foe

This is hanging off my windowsill. It's about an inch in total length. Some sort of pupa I'm guessing, but friend or foe?

Ooh! I predict a beautiful butterfly will emerge
A Monarch butterfly to be exact. They are becoming endangered so let it hatch. Catapillers only feed on milkweed, so should be no risk to cannabis.

I used to raise them as a kid. They actually migrate annually between North and South. Certainly my favorite critter in the insect world.
