Fudo's Spring Organic Sativa Grow

Plants are looking nice and green, and I'd say a few risers are in the future!

I hope the Panama tames it, because Arctic Bowl :rip: had a topped Malawi that was a bit wild:

Damn that’s gotta be 7ft tall.

Did a little more LST and reconfigured for better light coverage and air circulation. I forgot to mention I turn the pots once or twice a day. They seem like they might be picking up the pace a little.
I’ll be up canning to 7’s soon and flipping soon afterwards. Sheds picture is making me think I’ll be outta room in a hurry.

I'd turn em too if I could Fudo. They do better that way for sure! Looking sweet!

Did the up can and built the screen frame. The net I ordered should be here tomorrow. I bought 3.5” and 6” nets. I need 4 more 4 sided corners and one more piece of pipe for the second level.
I’m only scrogging the MP’s. There’s no way I could get to that back corner otherwise. We’ll see how it works with 2 1st before I tackle that problem.

So I retied the Hulkberry’s down and a couple hours later they were looking at the sky. Lots of bud sites :cheesygrinsmiley:. I’d say they took to their new homes just fine. They are a little green but they’re growing fine and not burning. There’s a couple of little brown spots on the big MP and it’s just the one plant on a couple leaves. Probably nute burn? I now know Sativa’s aren’t a fan of nitrogen. I learned that a little too late so I didn’t adjust the soil. I didn’t add any extra EWC though like usual, so there’s that.

The Biscotti 2.0 is finally starting to perk up. I may top her at her next node but I can’t make up my mind. I’ve never not topped one but her node spacing is super tight. It’ll be like harvesting one big bud.

I’ll put the net up asap. I’m going to set it right at the base of the 2 leaders on the big MP and bend them sideways under the net. That’s about 2’ off the ground and will leave me 5’ to play with.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Got a lot done today. The nets up and the B2 is upcanned.

Now the next question, when should I flip? Any suggestions would be great. I’ve never grown sativas before. I mean, how big will they really get?

How much space to the top do you have? The sativa leaners I have now vegged for 68 days and had 16 inches of stretch. They were topped and lst'd for a flat canopy. I'd say they're 5 feet from the floor.
Thanks Otter! The screen is 27” from the floor. I have 5 more feet to the ceiling. I’ll have to do some math. These I believe are about as close to 100 % Sativa as they come.

Day 44

They’re growing like crazy. I watered
them all besides the Biscotti with just shy of a gallon with zero runoff. They could’ve taken more of course but I ran out of de chlorinated water. Time to add another bucket. No deficiencies to be seen so they got just pure water. It hasn’t been a day and I’ve already had to retie and tuck them. I Stank tied the Hulkberry’s via Shed, great idea. :hookah:
