Funny First Grow Outdoor/Balcony OG Kush + Grape Ape

Man funny those plants are looking good and some good buds forming son!

Are you still having bug sightings??? You need to doose the top of your pot with DE and keep your saucer (bottom) dry. Maybe even tape the holes or pile DE around the holes. The gnats go in the bottom holes and lay eggs. The larva feed on the roots. and eventually evolve to the crawlies and then flys. DE kills them dead.

i still see the bugs, but not so many... i think the collembola bugs are attracted to the humidity and the organic stuff in my pots.... i see gnats here and there and im tryna pick up some pantyhose for the drain holes. i know azamax is a good product, but cant spend the money on it at the moment...
also, i doubt the bugs are a big problem in my tent, they seem to be dying off from the lack of moisture...
i havent seen any gnat larvae yet, but i see gnats here and there... either they get smacked or get caught in the glue, there are no survivors when they cross my eyes even for the collembolas i squish em when i see em :)

any comments or ideas on how i can improve my first grow, please feel free to rant along haha! :grinjoint::grinjoint::grinjoint::grinjoint::grinjoint::grinjoint::tokin:

Change your nutes to General Hydroponics MaxiBloom there are a lot of growers on this site myself included that produce nice healthy plants. Myself I use it at a rate of 3/4-1tsp/gal every watering and then giving my plants a good flushing every 1.5months or flushing if a problem presents itself.

quick update:

so i had a meeting with the bugs in my pots today. there were quite a few of em... didnt expect that. anyways we got to the point and they decided to let me kill off as many of em as i can. so they huddled up for a quick and easy process. :) with the safer spray BAM!

im already using the foxfarm trio, i think theyre doin pretty alright with it, but thanks for the rec man ill definately look into it. i was thinkn botanicare my next go after the trio run out seems good for the price too
havent flushed once yet, but been leaching a little bit cos ive seen salt buildup in the hermie and male pots
:peace:

Looking nice and the new veg is staying very tight. Keep those nodes as close together as possible. Whatever your doing with them is working. And it looks like a high indica content in em. Should provide you a nice buzz

I used to have a problem with flies laying eggs in my trashcan... outside fortunately. One day I decided to get rid of the problem and lit the whole damn trash can on fire with the help of some bug spray and gasoline. Its worked, but can't do that here unfortunately.

Ever thought of transplanting into a hydro medium. I just did it with one of my Purple Power plants in the flower room. I took her out of the soil and put her in a DWC bucket. She (and I say she being hopeful) took to it quite well and is still nice and green with no visible changes. However... a Super Silver Haze did not have such success. She wilted and died. But if you hate bugs like I do... you'll do anything short of nuking the place to get rid of em.

I'm still

Here fim looks good. Could be alittle tighter, but it looks fine and should double your branches. Way Cool.
I understand that a layer of diatomaceous earth on top with tear the little buggers guts out. And everytime you water, carry a fork or something to always turn the top inch or two of soil over with each watering. But as thick as your bugs are it must have come from the soil. GL

hey Bubbadank, herbs, thanks for the compliments :) im thinkn of choppn em different since i have 3 of em, ima chop one for a heady high, next for a mixture, then last for a sedative :smokin:

haha herbs we have some things in common then, i woulda lit that can on fire the same way! a can on axe with charcoal fluid ftw! muahaha hey i wana try dwc, but switchn out their medium is worst subject. when i transplanted ogkush1 few weeks back, i dusted off the soil from the roots cos they were all molded up, white, brown and then replanted her... she wilted and died as well. im scared of this procedure really.... but i do wana try dwc forSURE it seems exciting :)

hey Wood! did a little reading on it... so far so good! i love it when they have those OMRI stamped on it, its almost like its approved :) feels safe haha! (safer brand) lol

Safer brand Diatomaceous Earth
'Offers quick relief by killing pests via dehydration within 48 hours of ingestion'
OMRI listed, wow i actually like this stuff :)

yea i should use somethin else besides my finger haha cos i realized they crawl up my hand pretty quick...
i googld for a good minute and found some great pictures of the bugs in my pots
