Germination?

I placed a couple bag seeds in a small glass cup filled with about an inch of water.One of the seeds sunk to the bottom,one of them didn't sink all the way but went under, and the others are floating.I placed the cup in my closet.

About how long do you think it will take for them to germinate?

I have a feeling the seeds that floated wont germinate probaly because they're hollow.

sometimes they will germ. so leave them anyway. but yeah they may take 2-7 days.

Should I change the water in the cup?If so how many times?

Changing the water isn't so important, you can though if it looks dirty or something.

Would putting it on top of my warm TV with a cloth over it so its dark and warm, will this make them germinate faster and/or better?
