Hello everybody! This will be my third grow Journal. Unfortunately the other two journals are still open. LOL but they will soon be coming to a close. I took clones from my current grows and I'm excited to see how well they do! Cheers! G.I.JOSE

I'm praying to the Cannabis gods that this works well. I've never cloned with a dry Amendment before. I don't think I won't do it again I had a few issues trying to place my cuttings in the medium, and I lost three already. Fingers are crossed though. Thanks for hitching a ride @Silverfox125 , @Advocate420 , @Green thumb lou

Week 1.5
I got some good news and bad. I would not use Earth Dust on starting Clones, lots of issues in doing this. I lost 10 of 14 clones. After I greaved a little I decided to Monster crop my next set of clones. Monster Cropping is a relatively new training technique and is also known as Flowering Clones. It works from the phenomenon that clones taken from a flowering plant grow extremely bushy when they are reverted into the vegetation phase. When doing this the plants have a tendency to grow all crazy. I cant wait to see what they will look like. Till next time. C-ya

This would be the result of Monster Cropping

Count me in @GIjose !
I'll grab a seat and roll with you on this one.

Can you tell us a bit more about Earth Dust? Is that what you will be using as a medium for the plants and not only clones?

@GardeningGnome,
I will be using the Earth dust on my Critical HOG, GG4, and one of my Ghost Train. However I do not recommend using Earth dust as a medium for freshly cut clones.

Earth Dust is an organic dry amendment, its $57 for 2 - 4 lb bags of product. The manufacturer The Green Sunshine Company states that it's best to grow in a Peat medium mix so the bacteria has enough food to thrive. You only need three feedings for your entire grow. Each feeding is 4 tablespoons per gallon of medium. You will start off using the Base, feeding should be two weeks prior to the transplant of a seedling so as to allow the bacteria to grow. Each feeding is 4 tablespoons per gallon of soil. Because of the bacteria and organic material in the mix you do not have to pH the water you give your plant (if you're using Coco you will have to pH). Now all you have to do is maintain your plant by watering properly till flower. Two weeks prior to flower you will amend the soil with Boost. Then 30 days after that, you amend again, this is the last time you feed your plant. Now just maintain watering your plant and watching your lovely ladies grow. Hope the info helps. Cheers!-G.I.JOSE

Just a quick update this is weak 2 . Nothing too extraordinary to post just yet. The girls are responding very well until the new habitat and starting this week I will be taking off the top Dome while they're awake and then replacing it once it's time for them to go to sleep. I hope everyone is doing well with their grows. Cheers!

This is Week 3! Most of the Clones are doing very well! There is two that I'm a little concerned about as you can see from the pictures they have a little bit of burn on them, I'm not sure if it's over spray or actual nutrient lockout. I am now leaving the top off for longer and longer periods of time to let the Clones get climatized to the environment. I hope everybody's grows are doing well. Cheers! -G.I.JOSE

Week 4 clones seem to be finally rooting!! Noticing some new growth too! I came up with a make shift nursery, with some posterboard and foil. Just until my other grow is finished.

Week 7 veg! In today's video we top all the plants except two, and put up some LST on some of them. The last time I fed them was when they received their transplant. Unfortunately one of the plants did not make it, it was the one with the severely burnt fan leaves. Hope everyone's doing well. Cheers!-G.I.JOSE
