Thanks for stopping by. I am starting a new journal as my last one was a little junked up and could have been done better. I was wanting to try to do a better job with this one. Hope you like it or are able to take away any information that may help you with a budget grow. The strain and nute info in this first post will be updated if things change.

Strain Description:
One of the world’s true indicas brought back from the rugged Hindu Kush mountains. Hindu Kush stays short and has wide dark green leaves with dense buds forming on thick stems. The smoke has a musty earthy flavour and is heavy like hash on the lungs.

Day 15 Flowering...

They realized that the lights have changed and are starting to work on flower development. I wish that the two on the ends would stretch a little so that I can get an even canopy.

They have all been topped so that I can test that against the yield from the first harvest.

Thanks brother. By all means, pull up a chair, thats what I am here for. My other journal is still going, but I will be cutting those down in a few days. Im about 10% amber right now. They have been on a diet of water and FloraKleen for a few days now. Maybe I can hang out with Lord Shiva is the ganja god. =).

I have one more round of Hindu Kush left then it is on to OG Kush. I will get pics of the other stuff up this week.

Thanks for stopping by wingman. I started with these guys. They are simple and yield big. I knew it was going to get my room together, so I needed something easy. Its a good smoke though. Lets hope mine come out good. My other ones are getting chopped down in the next few days. The thread is in my signature, I dont know if you seen it before.

These ones are on deck. One last round of Hindu Kush. Or Grow HK-3

Getting ready to take clones of this one next week. This will be after the 3rd round of HK. This will be my first attempt at OG Kush. I will probably do a few cycles of these as well.

I finally got one of the 8 bulb T8 fixtures I been wanting. The guy at the hydro shop swapped out the blue bulbs for red ones for free. I thought that was bad ass.

Day 24 flower

Just a quick update, I will post some pics at the end of the week.

Since putting that T5 fixture in there, the girls are flowering better. I have also been better about pruning and tying branches on this bunch. I am definitely happy with the improved growth.

There have been no other events.

Okay so here is the update for the week.

Day 28 Flower...

Here is a few closer shots. Definitely doing better this round. Its only the end of wk 4 and they are starting to stack up. The last ones didnt get there of about another week or so. Looking forward to higher yield for these...

Heres the ones on deck. I trimmed them all up and topped them. I also cut all my clones from the OG Kush, so they should be ready in about a week.

Thanks brother, I been busy the last few days and havent had much time to be on here. I think that these ones are looking way better than the last ones. Im thinking that I will have higher yields. I was curious about the results too. I am even more anxious to compare these T5s to the 2800k T5s that I am ordering.

The stuff that is curing has acquired an odd harshness after 4-5 days of drying and a little over a week curing so far. I am wondering if maybe my flush wasnt good enough. There is a slight tingling when I blow the smoke out of my nose. I know that is a sign of nutes left behind. If it turns out crappy it will either become hash or put into edibles. It looks/smells good so far. Guess I will find out soon enough.

I think that you are correct, they are looking way better than last round. In all fairness, the last ones never should have made it. With 2 chemical burns, 3-4 seperate rounds nute lockout. They hung in there though. Too bad they taste like shit now. I think I effed them up trying to put that fan on them, and locked in the chlorophyll. Curing is helping, but at almost 2 wks cure, they should already taste great. Im thinking its time to go back to just stringing them up in a closet.

With all that said, I have avoided the same problems by just paying attention, and of course buying proper instruments. Most of it was resolved when I bought PH and TDS meters. The rest was from me being fresh out of surgery.

Well today is the end of week 6. About another 1.5 weeks. I will be taking pics today and will try to get them posted. I have a pretty busy day so I might not get to it until tomorrow.

I have to build another aero system with the square tubes like the last one that I built. Plus today is water change day too, so I have a long day ahead of me.

Okay sorry for the late update. I have had alot going on this last week. I ended up finding a dispensary that wanted my clones, but had nowhere to put them. he ended up asking me to set up a display for them and keeping it stocked. So it looks like I have a little extra monthly cash flow. It will pay for nutes and misc items.

I got hooked up with some equipment too. A friend of my dads had some 110v items at the house and hes all wired up for 220 so he didnt need the stuff. He told me I could borrow it for as long as I want as long as I take care of it. Plus buy a new bulb if it burns out, which I didnt think needed mentioning. Its 600w HPS bulb, ballast, and vented reflector. He sent a vortex fan too, I was super stoked. So now I have that light on the ones that have only been flowering a few weeks. Im thinking that I might just leave them in the rubbermaid tub now that I have that light. It wouldnt make any sense to try to spread it out in a rectangle, when the hood has a square footprint. I dont want to pull it up several feet just so that it will look nice. I dont give a shit what its growing in, just how well it grows =).

Actually as I was writing this my girl asked me why I just didnt build one of those aero setups but
just shorten up the distance between them a little to try to get it more square, but give them a little more room than they have now. I will use that setup for sativas now that I have a suitable light to grow them. Well I guess that problem is solved.
