Gnats

Yes, as they reproduce, by laying eggs in the soil there numbers increase. They can ruin a plant or plants, just by eating the roots in this stage of development. I’ve come up with a cheep and easy way to rid myself of them, spread clean sand on top of soil a 1/4 “ or so the sharp edges of the sand chews up there little exoskeleton as they crawl or dig in.
And yellow 2 sided stickie tape attracts any thing flying by. I also use as gage to see how bad the infestation is .

that late in flower h2o2 is supposed to work in a spray bottle diluted, not sure of rate, boys here will tell you. I dont use it.
light spray over the medium, kills on contact and messes up the eggs.
Go lightly.
Dont spray on plant in flower, is why I dont recommend neem at this late stage or in flower, affects taste.

Diatomaceous earth or mosquito dunks will kill the babies as well.
Letting your soil dry out gets rid of them too. They only occur in the top few inches of the soil and if that dries out, they die. Cannabis needs to dry out between watering anyway.
